Designed by Paul Johnson of Paul’s plastics these new key fob cases are much stronger than OEM and available in virtually any color combination. You will use the buttons and circuit board from your existing fob and replace just the case. I have tried these with several aftermarket “guts” with success but fitment is not guaranteed I can not try them all. They were designed by Paul for OEM guts.

If you aren’t comfortable switching cases yourself send us your fob, we will replace the battery and make the switch for you and send it back!

Well this one has needed a lot of TLC and I just finished the 3” lift. Here is what I learned. 1) I will never do it again. It is ridiculously tall and getting things to work was way more difficult than it should have been. It took far too much time to line things up and get them back together and working. The geometry is kind of ridiculous and it looks silly. 2) even with 1” wheel spacers a a slight massaging of the body surrounding the rear strut mount, anything wider than a 215/70 r16 wouldn’t fit without rubbing. That kind of made the whole lift pointless if I can only run stock tires. To solve this offset wheels or bigger spacers would be needed. They make a 215/85 r16 but it isn’t very common. I had a set of pilot wheels and tires I intended to put on but they wouldn’t fit without bigger spacers. I don’t want to run 2.5” spacers. 3) it actually rides pretty good and is fun to drive but the alignment was a bear.

Anyway black Betty is nearly ready. Valve adjustment and one more CV axle to replace since the alignment shop broke the passenger front…

Trouble with cruise and horn at the same time? If the horn still honks when you double press the lock button on the fob but not when you press on the wheel, and the fuse is good it’s likely that you need to replace your clock spring. They go bad quite often. Also gives you a chance to change your turn signal cam if your signal is not canceling

So I did a really fun thing on a couple of the cars today. No I can’t sell you these parts there are several people selling them, and at least one creator selling the file. You can use it to make your own but not resell the file or the printed parts. But I tell you what this is an awesome and easy mod. I think I am going to print them in glow in the dark as well, just wanted to make sure they worked good first.

You ever have one of those bad days that gets worse? I had a thermostat housing leaking, why did Honda think plastic was a good choice to make these out of? I had to take off the intake manifold because I had to do a knock sensor at the same time. So after all of that knock sensor comes out, starter comes out, then I start taking off the housing and removing the back side bolt it snaps!!!! What the heck!!! 3/8”drive ratchet by hand hardly any torque and bam!!!! I was so mad. So now the water pump has to come out to fix the broken threads or replace if it can’t be fixed…. So the power steering pump has to come off the alternator the AC compressor all to get the water pump off.

Finally get all of that done and get the broken stud out and start trying to put everything back together

That’s when the cold windy weather decided to start raining hard on top of me. I just couldn’t catch a break today.
