2 in a row! Tyler Miller, Myrick Coil and Monster Energy M CON Racing take the first Pro Class 1 win of the weekend at the IHRA New Orleans Powerboat Grand Prix. The team carried the momentum from their Sunday win at the last IHRA round in St. Pete into Saturday's race in the Big Easy. (unofficial results)

🚨 2026 SODA Safety Update – LIFELINE Recertifications 🚨

New for the 2026 season, Lifeline jackets will now be required to be within their 5-year recertification window to race in SODA events.

We want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has already taken the time to either order a new jacket or send theirs in for recertification. We know it takes time, planning, and money — and we appreciate you taking safety seriously.

For racers planning to attend the Sunshine State Spring Shootout that may not currently have a compliant jacket — don’t let that stop you from coming. One of the best parts of SODA is the community, and we will help connect you with someone who may have a jacket you can borrow while yours is being recertified. We want you there.

We’ve also heard the feedback — some people think this new rule is trash. We get it, changes like this aren’t always popular. But safety is, and always will be, our top priority. Some racers were depending on jackets older than some of our racers — and that’s just not okay.

We’re not making this change to make things harder — we’re making it to make sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.
