Our close friend and car owner of Patriot Pro Mod, Cor Valentyn, can sure use some more prayers! Thanks for all those who expressed their concern and love for our friend recently. He is really more like a father to us, so it means a lot. I spent the morning with him. There was some improvement, but he is still very weak right now. He is hurting, but in good spirits, and he even asked for a brownie fudge Sunday after not eating since Monday.

Patriot Pro Mod goes a career best at Heavyweight 8 Pro Mod Series held at the amazing Dragway 42, the best track in the country! We struggled quite a bit, but hard work, determination, and a never quit mentality proved to be the answer as always. We went 3.83@194 in a round 1 loss to a team that is on fire right now. (congrats Mike D and team CNC Performance)
We would like to thanks all those who have helped us get this far.

After almost 2 years of not running the Patriot, we where finally able to bring her back out for the Rumble Wars Elite 8 event held at Summit Motorsports Park. We where unable to test the car and it's new go-fast goody's prior to the race. Then rain reduced the 2 qualifier runs to 1. We made the most of the one run and the car performed very well, even though we missed on the tune up a bit. We wound up qualified 2nd.
Unfortunately, we had small but critical part failure which prevented us from making more runs this weekend. All in all, a good starting point to work from. We will continue making the car fast at the next race, "Night Under Fire" at Norwalk in 2 weeks time.

We had an incredibly productive weekend on the dyno at Rage Fuel Systems Inc. We got some new trick goodies for the engine package from Rage and Prock Performance.
We are very thankful and appreciate all of effort put in by the entire team at Rage Fuel Systems and Prock Performance for all of their warm hospitality and professionalism at every level.
We have a few more things to do to be ready but the Patriot will be on track soon!
