Magnum drove a 1981 308 GTSi. Seasons two through six, same year, same model, same Rosso Corsa red. 🇮🇹 The GTSi is the fuel-injected one, which is the bit most people miss — the earlier 308 ran carburettors. Route 66 turns 100 this year, and there's a new documentary telling the story of the towns, the people and the road itself. Route 66: The Main Street of America is currently on a roadshow across New Mexico, Arizona and California.

Earlier this year we sent three classic cars out onto the Mother Road as part of our partnership with Booking.com. Watching this trailer, we're reminded why some roads are more than just roads...

His 1965 Shelby GT350 tribute took years to get right, and almost every part of it is to original spec. Classic cars aren’t all chrome and tailfins 🏁

Modern cars have got quieter, smoother and more alike. Which is exactly why the ones with some noise and character about them are getting harder to ignore, and why more of them are turning up on DRIVESHARE.

Not every icon has to be sixty years old. 🇳🇿

Rob’s 2013 Defender 110 works out of Queenstown — black, 2.2 Puma diesel, manual gearbox, and from the last years before Land Rover stopped building them in 2016 after 68 years. He calls it Rangatira. 🔧

It spends its time on film sets, brand shoots and the alpine roads around Lake Wakatipu, always with a driver. 🎬

This 1966 Ford Mustang convertible runs a rebuilt 289 V8 with a fully automatic top, two-tone blue and white pony interior, and its original wire wheels on new tires. 🔧

From family photos to unforgettable memories — four trucks, and the people who rented them 🍂

Harmony rented the 1967 F-100 for a photoshoot and the hosts delivered it to her location. Ivanna took the Jeep Wagoneer out for a Christmas shoot. Sergio had the 1949 F1 at his wedding. Anna booked the C10 and said she would book it again.

Fall is peak season for family photos, and every one of these is on the site 📸

Steve was fifteen when he got this Skylark. Four decades later it is still his, and his wife calls it Christine 🔧

Somewhere along the way it picked up a Corvette LS-3, 420 horsepower, modern brakes and a brand new interior in January. Looks like 1967, pulls like 2013. In his words, quiet till you hit it.

One of his renters put it best after her wedding: “The car was beautiful and fun to ride in. It felt special to have this lovely car deliver us to our reception.”
