So it's only Wednesday and we have already repaired 4 vehicles that have been improperly 'repaired' at other shops. Automotive shops/technicians are not all created equal. Skilled technicians and 'people who work on cars' are not the same. There are a lot of people out there that play basketball - but not everyone plays in the NBA!!!

It’s things like this that prove that we must be doing something right. Donnie’s donuts from one customer and cookies and sodas from another. For a customer to go out of their way to bring my guys treats (especially when they aren’t even having work done today!) makes everyone’s day better. Thank you Karla Haines and Chris Dunlop, we appreciate it very much!

It's been a long week Facebook....I hope all of you did well with the storm. I finally have power back on at the shop thanks to a power crew in from Chicago. Now, if I can get Spectrum over here to take care of my phones then I'll be back to some sort of normal next week. Thank you to all of you that were concerned and reached out this week, it means a lot to me that we have such great customers that care about us as much as we care about them.

FYI all your scheduled services do not have to be done at the stealership. I've talked to several people this week that were under the impression that they had to return to the dealer to have maintenance done to keep their warranty. I can save you about half the money you would spend with them, using the same parts/fluids/etc.

I have to give them a 'A' for ingenuity, but MacGyver doesn't work here....we don't improvise, we repair things properly.

Just got through shattering another estimate......for the EXACT same job (Rear ceramic brake pads and brake rotors on an 08 Saturn), parts and labor......

this is a picture of a brake caliper that has bearing grease all over it - apparently the technician at Wal-Mart thought the brake bleeder screw was a zerk fitting. I don't sell TV's or groceries, I repair vehicles. I think Wal-Mart should stick to TV's and groceries.

Just like last year, we'll be raffling off two tickets to the Florida-Florida State game. This year the game is in Gainesville on November 30. Raffle tickets are $10 each, 7 for $50, 15 for $100.
