LoveShack Shimmies

♥ Conquering road rage one Shimmy at a time ♥ My search for a passion stems back to my childhood and genetics of being born into a large family of artists. My Paternal Grandmother was an art teacher, my mother was an art teacher; my father and three brothers were blacksmiths, complete with coal fueled forges, anvils and iron; and my two sisters are graphic designers. I was destined to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. After being kicked out of the corporate world four times since 2007, not to my accord, but do to buyouts, economic issues; terminal illness; and bad business practices, I created my Shimmies out of an inexpensive, but creative need for handmade Christmas presents for my close friends and family. My shimmies are handmade beginning with 20 gauge wire of many luscious colors, a gorgeous variety of glass beads to let the sun shine through, seashells for organic effect and silver, and brass or glass charms of many different interests. I connect these ingredients together to hang from your rearview mirror and to enjoy the movement as they "shimmy“ from the sunshine or lights on the road. I love to make them as requested, but find that my variations of style and color suit most buyers. They are designed to bring serenity and pleasure to driving experiences that can many times be stressful. So far, they seem to be working.
