Hey everyone, thought I would give a little behind the scenes look at paint costs. Unless you are in the custom paint world you probably have wondered why custom paint is so expensive. First, the ability to do it comes in to play, but to me, bigger than that, is cost of materials. This small amount of paint that I just got in cost me 537.31. Fancy is expensive!!! Painted up my personal mini fridge as a charity piece for the Chrome & Smoke semi truck show. Gave it a big rig feel with classic older colors with a cool process that makes it look like worn leather. The guys managing this show were awesome to work with. Hope it raised a few bucks for the kids!
