We took our 68 RS-Z out on Saturday morning. Grabbed coffee and dodged some rain sprinkles. Of course exercised the cross ram too. We haven’t driven this car much this year. I don’t know about you, but some cars just seem like happy cars. This car is happy. It loves to be driven, never overheats, always starts plus it’s a 47,000 original mile documented Z. Bringing on the smiles!

Reminder - NCRS Top Flight judging on Sat 9/26 at 8am at the Omaha Speed Shop. The candidate is our beloved 1964 fuelie coupe. This car won its class at the 1966 Winternationals. With 15,000 original miles, this very special car should do well.

French 1966 Chevelle UPDATE

CAR ARRIVES TO OMAHA THIS SATURDAY 9/26!

Our Frenchie has arrived at the Port of Newark so she’s now back on American soil for the first time since 1966. Built new at the Baltimore assembly plant, the NCRS Historical Services documentation proves our car was built as an Export Distribution car. We cannot wait to share a detailed video of the car later this month.

We wanted to share this garage find we landed last December and have since sold. A chilly Omaha day it was, but well worth the effort. Interesting car with great color combo and high horse tach and oil pressure, but non-matching motor. Was sitting for 20 years in an Omaha garage. 67 hood was goofy, but a great find.

SOLD - What day yesterday going to get our true barn find. Started the clean up on our 1968 two owner 327/210 glide car. Protecto plate. Typically rust spots. Been off the road since 2002 and last registered in 1993. Not sure if we are keeping it or selling it. Dry underneath. Rare color combo of Rally Green/deluxe houndstooth interior. Factory AC and PS.

Corvette fans - mark your calendar! The Nebraska Chapter's Fall Judging Event will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Omaha Speed Shop, located at 4016 Hamilton St. in Omaha.

We will be judging a 1964 Daytona Blue fuel injected coupe.

The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will include Flight Judging and a Judging School.

In full disclosure, the Rally Green 68 Camaro wasn’t the only “barn find” to arrive to the shop yesterday. This wonderful factory AC 1964 Chevelle joined our herd after 15 years of rest in the barn in the background. An original rust free documented Nebraska car. That’s rare. All T-3s still there. Original paperwork too. We’ve never had a 64 Chevelle before so pretty excited to dive in. The former owner might be one of the nicest dudes ever. Sometimes things just click. Great guy.

We get a lot of calls about LS swaps and restomods. We can appreciate those, but we’re all about preservation and originality. They’re only original once.

Barn find Saturday. The nicest guy reached and said that he had a 1968 Rally Green Camaro with factory AC and houndstooth along with the original protecto plate. He’s owned it since 1981 and it’s been in a barn since 2002. Went on a hunch this morning and bought it.
