A little reintroduction to TIO. 🖤

For those who are newer to the page, this is TIO — our Kia Stinger GT1 AWD Twin Turbo and one of the original pillars of Altitude Performance.

While the new shop, the new compound, motorcycles, Vanguard, Sentinel, and other projects have taken center stage lately, TIO has quietly remained part of the foundation that helped build this brand.

This car has been with us through drag strip passes, road trips, late-night drives, photoshoots, meets, and countless memories. It’s been a reminder that performance doesn’t always come in the package people expect.

Sometimes it’s good to look back at the projects that helped shape the journey before focusing on the next chapter.

TIO may have been on the back burner for a while, but it’s definitely not forgotten.

More miles. More memories. More boost.

Altitude Performance: Vanguard PPF Prep – Complete ✅

Spent the day getting Vanguard ready for paint protection film the right way.

✔️ Full wash and decontamination
✔️ Clay bar treatment
✔️ Paint correction on high-impact areas
✔️ Rock chip repair across the front end and surrounding panels
✔️ Final inspection under shop lighting

The amount of rock chips hiding in the Summit White paint was honestly surprising. After correcting and touching up everything, the front end looks dramatically better and is finally ready for PPF installation.

One of the biggest goals with this truck has always been keeping it looking as good as it performs. Taking the time to do the prep work correctly before installing protection makes all the difference.

Next up: Front bumper PPF install. 👀

40x60 shop transformation officially complete. 🔥

From stained concrete to a fully clear-coated epoxy floor with a custom black, white, charcoal, and subtle red flake blend. The reflections and shine completely changed the atmosphere inside the shop.

This is only the beginning of the Altitude Performance compound build. 👊

The clear coat is officially finished… and this completely changed the shop. 🔥

The biggest difference honestly wasn’t just the gloss — it was how much brighter, cleaner, and larger the entire 40x60 suddenly feels now. The floor reflects light across the whole building and completely changed the atmosphere inside the shop.

The smooth finish came out exactly how we hoped, and the custom flake blend really started coming alive once the clear coat went down. From a distance it looks clean and subtle, but up close the black, white, charcoal, and subtle hints of red give it that custom performance-shop feel without overdoing it.

Seeing the transformation side-by-side from the original stained concrete to where it sits now is honestly hard to believe. This was one of the biggest milestones of the entire compound build so far.

Still a ton left to do:
⚡ Electrical cleanup & upgrades
🌐 Air system install
🧊 Insulation
💡 Lighting upgrades
🛠 Office & loft build
🚗 Moving the projects in

But for the first time, the shop truly feels like the future home of Altitude Performance. 👊

Huge thank you to everyone following along with the build so far. Seeing this transformation finally come together makes every long night worth it.

And an even bigger thank you to my ride or die, Euriah, for sticking this project out with me night after night — grinding, prepping, applying coatings, and pushing through the long hours together. This floor would not have come out the way it did without you. ❤️

Also, a huge thank you to Performance DIY for supplying the epoxy system and making the ordering and delivery process incredibly smooth. The quality of the kit and support throughout the project definitely helped make this transformation possible. 👊

Altitude Performance | Shop Build Series | Episode 6

The shop finally started transforming for real. 🔥

After days of grinding, repairs, dust, etching, and nonstop prep work… the first epoxy base coat and flake system is officially down across the 40x60 shop floor. ✅

The final flake blend came together exactly how we envisioned:
✔️ Black
✔️ White
✔️ Charcoal
✔️ Subtle hints of red throughout

The goal was to create something clean, aggressive, and professional without overdoing it — something that fits the future vision of Altitude Performance.

Seeing this floor go from worn concrete to this finish makes all the long nights and prep work worth it. And we’re still not done yet… clear coat is next. 👀

This shop is slowly becoming the foundation for everything we’ve been building toward.

The prep phase is officially complete. 🔥

Today was all about the final steps before epoxy:
✔️ Final 60-grit grinding pass
✔️ Full concrete etching process
✔️ Final power wash and cleanup

Now the entire 40x60 floor is drying and ready for the next stage of the transformation.

This part of the build has been nothing but dust, grinders, repairs, and long hours… but proper prep is what separates a floor that lasts from one that fails.

Next up:
The first layer of epoxy goes down. ⚙️

The vision for the Altitude Performance compound is finally starting to come together.

Progress doesn’t always look flashy… sometimes it looks like dust, grinders, concrete repairs, and long hours. 🔥

Today was dedicated to repairing years of wear throughout the 40x60 shop floor. Cracks, settling, pits, and surface imperfections have now been filled and leveled as the foundation for the epoxy process.

This part of the build may not be glamorous, but it’s one of the most important. A clean final result starts with the prep underneath it.

Next up:
Final grinding passes once everything fully cures, followed by final surface prep and epoxy application.

The real prep work officially started. 👊

Yesterday was all about concrete prep for the future epoxy floors:
✔ First pass grinding with 30 grit
✔ Removing years of surface contamination
✔ Opening the concrete for proper adhesion
✔ Full shop power wash cleanup afterwards

This part isn’t flashy, but it’s one of the most important steps of the entire build. A good epoxy floor is all in the prep work.

Next up:
🔧 Repairing settling cracks, hairline cracks, and surface imperfections
🔧 Final prep passes
🔧 Getting the floor ready for epoxy
