We were finally able to get the blue goose painted this morning, It's been super windy so was a challenge in our makeshift spray tent. It turned out great. The key to a good paint job is proper prepping, a lot of time has gone in to get to this point. Hopefully we will be done with this project soon. Better to be busy than not.

First off Happy Memorial Day and Thank you to all of our Hero’s who served to make this Country what it is today 🇺🇸Thank your for your service and sacrifices.

This is part 2 of my Eastwood OptiFlow application. This time I was applying to a plastic Club Car Tempo Cowl that’s going on the blue goose. It had a Phantom cowl on there but I’m partial to the Tempo look😎.
We had to do some prep work to the cowl which included cutting out for the new LED headlights, some icing in minor scratches. And sanded with 220 grit.
I used a small sponge brush to apply around edges and headlights. Then a small sponge roller to do the rest. Should turn out great and be ready for sanding in 2-3 days.

Trying out this Eastwood OptiFlow epoxy primer on the blue goose. Eastwood has never let me down. This 2 part epoxy primer can be applied with a roller making it convienient to use if you don’t have a dedicated spray booth. I give it two thumbs up. It adhered great to this aluminum body, and should be ready to sand in a few days.
