We set out early on Saturday morning, wondering what the weather would be like. As we traveled south towards Illinois, the clouds parted, giving way to sunshine and pleasant temperatures for November.

Chicago MINI Motoring's annual drive to Starved Rock never disappoints. While the starting point was different, the camaraderie and scenic roads remained consistent. Thanks to Steve for leading the group yesterday; it was a fantastic drive!

Yesterday's forecasted rainclouds gave way to a warm & sunny fall drive, exceeding expectations! We were thrilled to see 16 cars join the drive, which kicked off at the Kwik Trip truck stop in Richfield. The fall colors were on full display, making for a beautiful drive. We navigated through the Kettle Moraine, scenic farm roads, and even an unexpected u-turn, all while enjoying lively cow puns and jokes over the radio (Thanks Tom!!!) A stretch of road rumored to be haunted added an extra layer of excitement to the adventure.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in yesterday's drive. Shout out to Steve and the folks with the Chicago MINI Motoring Club for making the trip to join us! (Steve will tell you that he didn't contribute much, but the paper route didn’t make itself up😊)
