Automotive/ Auto Upholstery/ Upholsterer/ Trimmer/ Convertible Top Installer:
Pay based on experience. Minimum 2 years experience.
Dave’s Auto Upholstery is located in Oakville, CT. We service clientele with vintage, modern, and special interest cars, as well as, marine, motorcycle, commercial, restaurant, medical and salon upholstery.
We are a growing business with a very busy schedule and supportive staff. We have a clean and organized work environment with opportunities to advance with the growth of the company. We currently have an Upholster/Trimmer position available.
If you are meticulous, have a good work ethic, attitude, and work well with others, we would like to have you on our team.
Experience is required for this position.

Convertible tops:
Convertible top installation on all makes and models of cars
Convertible top repair
Auto Interiors:
Leather, cloth, and vinyl seat design, fabrication and repair
Seat foam: construction, repair, and rebuild
Door panels: construction, repair, and installation
Carpet: construction & installation
Upholstery Skills:
Flat pattern layout
Machine & hand sewing techniques
Basic MIG welding
Pneumatic stapling
Minor sheet metal fabrication
Basic electrical wiring
Drilling, tapping, and bolt removal techniques
Gluing
Hand and pneumatic riveting
Requirements:
Mechanically oriented

Clean driving record and license
