Went and visited my guys at Wholesale Batteries, Inc.

Unfortunately, my battery went out on my four-wheeler that I use in the pits every weekend to haul my spare tires around. Don't be like me and wait till the last minute to check your equipment.

I'd like to express my appreciation to Eagle Machine Inc. for their outstanding efficiency to get my motor cleaned, adding a new carburetor, tuned and dyno. It was dropped off to them on Monday and returned to our shop by Thursday, allowing us to meet our scheduled race on Saturday; I'm also thankful for the assistance provided by my father in delivering the motor, and my lovely wife's dedication in settling the invoice and bringing it back to our shop. Talk about Team work and some bad ass customer service.

Unfortunately, we didn’t finish the feature on Saturday. Fighting for first, we made contact with the 51, ending myself in the wall. Between the carburetor stud ejecting itself with the entire air cleaner and the front of the car hitting the track on entry, I was just fighting to finish the race.

Looking back now, I wish I would have just pulled off. But when you’re in the lead, you just keep pushing. Live and learn. We will get this car fixed and be back out next weekend. Thank you everyone for your love and support.
