I’m gonna share some secrets with you this morning on how to make your 3.6 L Jeep engine survive to 240,000 miles

Top Ten

One
drive the hell out of it anytime you go to get on the interstate rev that thing up to about 5000 RPM. Keep it working.
Two
Do not install a mesh grill behind the factory grill that shows like an American flag or something like that that cuts down 75% of the airflow to the radiator and will cause it to overheat
Three
Do not use an aftermarket thermostat either find an aluminum thermostat or use factory Chrysler only the aftermarket thermostats are made incorrectly and will cause it to overheat
Four
If you hear a small tick noise, get it fixed ASAP before it does any damage to the camshaft or anything else
Five
If you have a check engine light, get it repaired ASAP do not sit on it and let it be
Six
Make sure you change the oil between 5000 two 7500 miles every time Castro oil is recommended along with one quart of Lucas pure synthetic 
Seven
Recommended changing the timing chain set with tensioners at 180,000 miles. The small chain tensioner likes to blow out and you lose oil pressure.
Eight
 if you have a bad oil leak that’s coming from the top of the transmission coming down. It needs an oil cooler. Do not ignore it replace it preferably with an aluminum oil cooler so it does not happen again.
Nine
If your temperature gauge gets over to the fourth mark while you are driving, do not let it get past that mark shut it down and have the problem fixed
Lastly, Ten
Do not baby your Jeep around town and then go out and go four wheeling and thrash on it and then continue to baby the engine around town that is worse than anything else

That is my top 10 recommendations to keep your 3.6 pen, star engine, nice and healthy

Again, Parts deposits will be paid for any parts before they are ordered and before repairs will start

After vehicle is completed, payment is due at that time of picking up your vehicle. There will be NO MORE PAYMENT PLANS. I CANNOT PAY MY BILLS BECAUSE PEOPLE DON’T WANT TO PAY ME

 I have been very lenient. I’ve been very nice. I’ve been trying to take care of people and I understand situations. We are working on a it’s finance company to finance repairs. If you’re unable to do that your car can sit there and wait until the bill is paid NO EXCEPTIONS

Since I sat down and looked up everything that is needed to do a 07-18 wrangler LS swap the correct way where all the Jeep and GM stuff will work together my labor the 5.3 engine used and a 6l80 4x4 transmission used for me to do this job will be $25,000

If you want a different engine the price may very depending on what engine you want it can be 4.8 5.3 5.7 6.0 6.2 LS or LT style

There may be cheaper out there and so be it but if I did one on a wrangler this is what it will be from me.

If someone wants this know I am behind on this kind of project I am 2 YJ Jeeps deep with 350 Chevy swaps one is almost ready to go and then on to the next.
