Happy Friday!

So I’ve been quiet for over a week now. Was busy recovering from a bite we believe came from a brown recluse spider. The picture is not the actual spider, I never saw my attacker haha.

Wow what an adventure that was. The picture progression shows the bite over a 7 day period. The first few days had me sleeping upright on the couch in the dark dealing with detoxing from the venom. Last picture is the clay poultice I’ve been using to cover the wound.

I am grateful for being here and the speedy recovery. I attribute this to the powers of prayer, meditation, and clean living.

Our existence is mind blowing and the universe full of wonder. Something so small like a spider having so much power. I am grateful to have this experience.

Fired up and ran a warm up cycle on this fresh engine. It’s running nice and steady even on this crazy 110+ day. I should give the engine builder a raise or bonus or something 😁. It’s always an awesome feeling to have your engine fire right up on the first try and exceed your expectations.

Sold another one!
It’s a bittersweet feeling. All the vehicles I’ve had from my past single guy life are slowly leaving. I will miss these awesome classics, but there is more to life than cars. Possessions are impermanent objects which come and go.
