Here's everything the seller tells us about this one: "TRAILER NOT INCLUDED… Body and frame for sale… Great muddling truck once finished…" It's an interesting concept, but we'd like to know whether it's a roller or has some sort of powertrain, what frame is under it, and much more. Complaints about the ad aside, the paint is awesome! This one is on Facebook Marketplace in New Johnsonville, TN for $1,800. We get the impression the trailer is not included.

Our billions of fans know how much we love custom utes, and it does seem that VWs lend themselves to this sort of modification. In this case, a 2004 Jetta GLS was chopped and have some sporty bits and air suspension added for good measure. Really, this trucklet looks pretty awesome! The mods are pretty tasteful here, as is the bodywork, which appears to have been done to a high standard....

It's true that Grumman has made much more than canoes, but this Eagle Scout knows this aerospace company most directly for its aluminum boats. Well, boats and LLV mail trucks. What the heck is a Kubvan? The interwebs say it was an earlier version of what became the LLV (Long-Life Vehicle), used by the United States Postal Service. Apparently, about 500 were built, and the underpinnings are related to the Volkswagen Caddy (AKA Rabbit Pickup), with the drivetrain shared with these Vee-Dubs....

We've featured quite a few pickup conversions (sometimes called Utes as a nod to Ozzies) over the years, but this is one of the most interesting. Not only was this Mini gifted a bed, it was extended substantially and gained two wheels in the process. Dually, you ask? No! An entire axle was added. We suppose this might technically increase payload capacity, but it's worthy of note that this is still a front-wheel drive vehicle....
