I just had concrete poured on a new driveway and these are the results. Is this amount of bowing normal/acceptable? I haven't paid them yet and don't know much about concrete work. Aesthetically it doesn't look very good but they told me that it just looks worse because of the boards.

Any help or advice is appreciated. They're coming tomorrow to collect payment and the money is really my only leverage here if there is an issue.

What is this pipe sticking up in front of our driveway? we have this pipe sticking up in the middle of our driveway ever since we moved in. It's never been a problem until now now that we notice that it seems to be rising upwards. We want to call the city to know what our options are but are unsure of what to call it. We did some googling and found out that it might be the sewer cleanout but all the pictures that were posted were all of pvc pipes. Any idea what this is called?

They want to charge my my $1k to change out the rusty box and the thing that’s in it. What is it? The rusty box is obviously rusty but they said the black thing in it is going bad (last pic) but nothing in the house is going wrong. Are they just trying to get a job out of her? The box is of no concern of ours but they brought it up for replacement.

How serious are these cracks? Is this house going to collapse? 🧐 Long story short, this is my grandmothers house that has been left for years. The floor is sloped (like a bow), the floor feels bouncy, and there are several large cracks like this around the house. We plan to have it looked at but will the house collapse tomorrow?

Drywall anchors slowly pulling out due to mounted TV… Used metal self-screwing drywall anchors rated for 138 lbs when installed correctly in 5/8” drywall. The bottom two anchors look secure/flush, but the top anchor is slowly pulling out through the applied moment. Will the anchors fail eventually? I never adjust the TV, but my roommate is kinda spoiled and will pull the TV out occasionally.
