🏁 Porsche Vibe Seoul: 15,000 Porsche Fans Gather in Seoul

South Korea hosted Porsche Vibe Seoul 2026, the country’s first and largest festival dedicated to Porsche enthusiasts.

Under the theme “All Porsche, One Vibe,” the event attracted 15,000 visitors over two days.

Held at the Oil Tank Culture Park, the festival showcased around 70 Porsche vehicles from different generations — from historic models brought over from the Porsche Museum in Germany to modern electric cars and unique vehicles from private collections.

⚡ Main Premiere: Cayenne Coupé Electric

The new all-electric Cayenne Coupé made its Korean debut at the festival.

The top-of-the-range Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric delivers impressive performance:

🎨 Exclusive Porsche 911 Turbo S Sonderwunsch

Another highlight was a 911 Turbo S finished in Lugano Blue, created according to a customer’s personal vision.

Porsche’s Sonderwunsch programme allows owners to collaborate directly with designers, engineers, and craftspeople to create truly one-of-a-kind vehicles with bespoke colours, materials, and details.

❤️ More Than Just a Car Show

The festival brought together cars, art, music, esports, and family activities. Early-bird tickets sold out in just three minutes.

A special Porsche Community Meetup attracted around 500 participants and 300 vehicles.

Porsche Korea also plans to donate KRW 150 million (approximately €100,000) to support talented children in the arts and sports.

Porsche Vibe Seoul proved that Porsche culture is about more than cars — it’s about the people brought together by a shared passion. 🖤

🏁 Luftgekühlt 12: 300 Legendary Air-Cooled Porsches Gather in Atlanta

8,000 attendees, 300 cars, and dozens of stories that have become part of Porsche’s legacy.

This year, Luftgekühlt took place at Town at Trilith, just outside Atlanta — a city that has been home to Porsche Cars North America since 1998.

Luftgekühlt began in 2014 as a casual gathering of Porsche owners in a Los Angeles parking lot. It was founded by racing driver Patrick Long, a two-time class winner at Le Mans, and creative director Howie Idelson.

Today, it is one of the most compelling events for fans of classic Porsches. Every car is carefully selected for the show, with organizers reviewing its history, photographs, and unique details.

🏆 50 Years of the Porsche 935

One of the festival’s main themes was the 50th anniversary of the legendary Porsche 935 race car.

The centerpiece was the Porsche 935 K3, winner of the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Driving this car, brothers Don and Bill Whittington, together with Klaus Ludwig, claimed the overall victory. It was the first rear-engined car to win Le Mans outright.

The Whittington brothers also had a direct connection to Atlanta: around the same time, they purchased Road Atlanta raceway.

🏎️ The Legacy of the Targa Florio

Another major theme was the 70th anniversary of Porsche’s first victory in the legendary Targa Florio road race in Sicily.

In 1956, Umberto Maglioli drove a Porsche 550 A Spyder to the brand’s first of 11 victories in the event. No other manufacturer has won the Targa Florio more often.

The race’s name later inspired Porsche to create the 911 Targa in 1965.

Four cars represented this chapter of Porsche history at the festival: a 1959 Porsche 718 RSK, the 1960-winning RS 60, a Porsche 904 Carrera GTS, and a 1971 Porsche 908/3.

🎬 The Gulf-Liveried Porsche 917K from Le Mans

Among the featured cars was the famous Gulf-liveried Porsche 917K.

In 1970, Brian Redman set the fastest time during testing at Le Mans in this car. It was later purchased by Formula 1 driver Jo Siffert, who made it available for the filming of Le Mans, starring Steve McQueen.

After spending many years out of the public eye, the car became part of the Brumos Collection and returned to the spotlight at Luftgekühlt 12.

❤️ The Porsche 356 That Returned to Its Owner 20 Years Later

One of the festival’s most remarkable stories involved a 1957 Porsche 356 A Outlaw.

Its owner originally discovered the rusted body of a 356 beneath debris in the basement of a store in North Carolina. He used the roof from the car to repair another body, but health issues eventually forced him to sell the unfinished project in 2004.

Twenty years later, the car unexpectedly appeared for sale less than three miles from his home. Even the boxes of parts still carried his handwritten notes.

At Luftgekühlt 12, the Porsche was displayed fully restored while retaining its patina and the marks of its unique history.

What makes Luftgekühlt special is the absence of traditional barriers between visitors and the cars.

Guests can walk up to legendary Porsches, examine the details, talk with their owners, and learn the story behind every vehicle on display.

Because Luftgekühlt is more than a festival celebrating air-cooled Porsches. It is a gathering of people dedicated to keeping automotive history alive.

🏁 Porsche Increases Its Stake in Manthey Racing to 67%

Porsche AG is strengthening its partnership with Manthey Racing GmbH by increasing its stake in the company to 67%.

Manthey has been one of Porsche’s key motorsport partners for many years, particularly in customer racing. The two companies now plan to work even more closely on high-performance vehicles, special-edition models, and exclusive racetrack experiences.

This move is part of Porsche’s new Sportwagenschmiede ’35 strategy, which includes the creation of Home of Sports Cars.

The initiative will bring together three key areas:

• Performance — high-performance vehicles and Manthey developments.
• Exclusiveness — personalisation through Sonderwunsch and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
• Heritage — Porsche’s rich automotive history and legacy.

🔧 Porsche and Manthey: A Partnership Proven on the Track

Since 2020, the two companies have jointly developed nine Manthey Kits for various Porsche models, ranging from the 911 and 718 to the latest Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach Package.

These performance kits enhance the capabilities of production sports cars by applying Manthey’s extensive motorsport expertise.

According to Manthey’s management, Porsche’s increased ownership stake opens up new opportunities for joint projects and creates an even stronger connection between racing technology and road-going sports cars.

🏆 What’s Next?

On 9 October at 13:30, during the DTM season finale weekend at the Hockenheimring, Manthey will unveil two special-edition models celebrating the company’s 30th anniversary.

And that’s not the only highlight of the weekend.

Manthey will also be fighting for its third DTM championship title in four years.

Heading into the finale, Thomas Preining leads the drivers’ standings by 23 points, while Manthey holds a 20-point advantage in the teams’ championship.

For Porsche and Manthey, this marks a new chapter in their partnership — one that will bring motorsport expertise even closer to the development of road-going sports cars. 🖤

Porsche GT3 Bergsport: How a Special 911 Comes to Life in Zuffenhausen 🏁

Long before the Porsche GT3 Bergsport takes on the winding roads of the Alps, its journey begins at the Porsche factory in Zuffenhausen.

Photographer Stefan Bogner went behind the scenes to capture how advanced technology and traditional craftsmanship come together at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.

Interestingly, all Porsche 911 variants have been built on a single production line for more than 60 years. Today, the range includes 25 variants, from the Carrera and special editions to the GT3 Cup race cars.

On average, it takes around four days to build a Porsche 911, from body construction and painting to final assembly.

Robots handle tasks that demand precision and consistency, while skilled craftspeople take care of the work where experience, attention to detail and quality control are essential.

But for the GT3 Bergsport, the process doesn’t end there.

Based on the Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package, this special edition receives exclusive finishing touches from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.

The body is painted in Valleygreenmetallic. After standard production, skilled craftspeople add distinctive details by hand: GT3 Bergsport badges on the B-pillars and rear lid grille, embossing on the leather centre console lid, and decorative stitching in orange, black and white.

Even the key, leather key pouch and documentation wallet are designed to match the GT3 Bergsport’s signature colours.

This is how a sports car is brought to life in Zuffenhausen, combining the precision of modern manufacturing with the personal touch of skilled craftspeople.

While Porsche sports cars were taking to the track in one corner of the world, in another, people were gathering for morning coffee, exhibitions and drives together.

That’s how this year’s Sportscar Together Day unfolded — a day created by Porsche for people who share a passion for sports cars and the pure joy of driving.

Porsche Experience Centres around the world opened their doors, bringing people together behind the wheel, alongside their favourite models and among those who understand why a car can sometimes be so much more than just transportation.

Some enjoyed track sessions, others went off-road, explored exhibitions, joined owners’ meet-ups or simply spent a few hours surrounded by the true Porsche atmosphere.

Sportscar Together Day began in 2018, when Porsche celebrated 70 years of its sports cars. Since then, the tradition has grown into a global event, bringing Porsche enthusiasts together around the world every year.

Different countries, different roads, different generations of Porsche.

But one reason to come together — a love for cars!
