AMBULETTE DRIVERS NEEDED
PO Staffing is looking for drivers to work for an ambulette company in Queens, NY.
This position is DIRECT HIRE. You will be working for the company and NOT PO Staffing
Position starts at $15.00 per hour
Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays are required
From the hours of 9 to 5 with overtime possibilities
Requirements:
• MUST have any Class Commercial Driver’s License with or without Passenger Endorsement.
• Attendance and professionalism are paramount, we need drivers who are reliable and courteous.
• Experience with operating ambulettes is a plus but not necessary.
• Knowledge of smartphones and the ability to use a phone application.
• The ability to safely bring members downstairs in their wheelchairs a plus but not required
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities:
• Transport members to and from appointments/medical appointments
• Treat our members with respect and kindness while they are in your care
• Operate vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner
• Performs pre/post trip vehicle inspections
• Assist our members boarding the vehicle using wheelchairs or other mobility equipment
Flexibility:
• Full Time Shifts available 40+ hours per week
• Part Time Shifts available as well
• Weekend Shifts Available
