Mello Tec racing is getting ready to start the race season with a Mello hybrid engine. We are using a 97 second gen engine block, 04 hyundai 2.4 crank shaft, manley evo 8 con rods,wiseco 2.3 stroker pistons,cosmetic head gasket, 1g in house ported head, kelford 280 cams, precision 1150 cc injectors, with upgraded fuel regulator, after market ignition system, with 04 dodge charger coil packs, JM fab intake manifold, 6765 billet wheel ball bearing turbo, ebay exhaust manifold, precision 46mm wastegate, in house built exhaust system by Rick Fabrication using a vibrant back barrel,(complete exhaust system is 3inch stainless steel), 850 hp precision intercooler, in house intercooler piping done by rick fab, with a 50mm tial blow off valve, cam and crank pos sensor from 99 2g engine, complete automatic 91 engine harness, converted to run 03 Evo 8 ecu unit, drive train in house built, automatic transmission using 3000gt axles, because we had bad results with the 600hp drag shaft shop axles. We are a full automatic but we can shift manually,by using a shift box from road surge. Thanks Tim the box works great. I will be testing and tuning in a week.
