The vision for this custom lowrider began five years ago with officers from Operations Division South of New Tucson Police Department and came to life with the dedication of TPD personnel and the support of local businesses, schools, and residents. Every part of the vehicle—from the rims to the paint—was either donated by the community or completed by talented members of the community.

On July 19, 2025, at the Pandalam KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) depot in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, one driver ate 4–5 bulbs of a sweet, golden-yellow Kerala variety of jackfruit called "Thenvarikka", valued for its fermentable sugars. After tasting it, he took the routine mandatory breathalyser test before starting the morning shift and saw his reading jump from 0 to 10. Despite insisting that he had not even consumed a drop, the officials refused to believe him. To prove his innocence the driver even volunteered for a blood test. Then, Two other drivers who ate the same fruit also tested positive, which left the officials puzzled. They finally decided to test the breathalyser, thinking it might be faulty. One of the officer first blew into the device and received a zero reading. Then he ate some jackfruit and tested positive on his second attempt. The officials, stunned by this outcome, concluded that the jackfruit had indeed caused all the false positives.

The Indian made Nissan Magnite achieved a five star result for adult and three stars for child occupant safety.

In a process of continuous improvement, Nissan introduced a series of safety enhancements to the Magnite, such as six airbags and electronic stability control (ESC), after which it submitted the model for a voluntary round of testing. This series of tests returned a much-improved four star rating. Not satisfied, Nissan further improved the Magnite, submitting it for a second voluntary test. As a result of this, it has become the first car in the South African market under Global NCAP’s current protocols to attain the much sought after five star rating.

For the last couple of days, there has been a lot of buzz regarding the launch of Honda Civic Type R in India. We asked Honda India for an official statement and their response was ‘This is a speculation information by some media and there is no official information or comment by Honda.’
