Good morning and Happy Monday.
Sure hope that you all had one hell of a great 4th of July weekend and a safe one for that matter, as we are now into a new month and it’s time to help East Coast Cruisers celebrate Christmas in July!
Yes, you read that right. Christmas in July. I know, it’s July, middle of summer, who would be thinking of the fat man in the red suit, besides us?
So let’s talk about this a moment. East Coast Cruisers does a Christmas in July show every year to help collect unwrapped toys and cash donations for the local Police Department for their Cops for Christmas fund. Benefiting local kids of all ages, so we ask, as you come to the show, to bring in a couple unwrapped goodies for the kids, and Yes, we promise to not allow Pat Teehan to play with the toys either.
Anyhow, let’s talk about this weekend, as it’s the City Center Cruise Night. Our favorite show of the month. Shade, cool breeze, plenty of trees and parking good music provided by DJ Weasel. From what I hear, he’s been deep down in the weeds, in search of some more music to keep us baffled and mystified.
This is a free show, no registration required, bring your wife and kids, bring your best friends, and their cars, have them bring their friends out. We have a great swap meet, awesome food vendors, all kinds of show photography provided by Newton White, Magrich Photography, and Ken’s Journey. Video will be brought to you by Drive by Cars with Alan and Action Daytona. So just upon that, why go anywhere else when we have you totally covered? Music, shade, a breeze, photography, a lake? It’s an awesome venue!
If you haven’t been here before, ask yourself, why? And then dust off that hot rod and come out and check us out. You won’t be disappointed!
Again, this is our Christmas in July toy collection show, please bring out a couple toys to help out the local kids at Christmas. And we, and the kids Thank You for your donation.

Cruisers.
Well, another weekend in the books and we have a cool car show on a hot day on tap for tomorrow afternoon.
Let’s talk car shows, or car show more to the point. This Saturday, East Coast Cruisers continue to bring on the heat with our City Center Cruise Night at Port Orange, June 8th from 3-6pm.
It’s going to be one hell of a rocking show, featuring DJ Weasel with his interesting blend of music that keeps us all mystified, Magrich Photography, Newton White, and Action Daytona keeping us all covered with great show photography.
East Coast Cruisers has committed them selves to bringing us one hell of a show at City Center Circle. They have a great location, with an awesome walking trail around a lake, shade, plenty of shade, lots of shade, and then more shade to help keep us all cool during these dog days of summer.
We also have new addition to our show line up, we now offer a swap meet. Guys listen, here’s your chance to buy up some cool stuff, or even sell some stuff, but we do have a couple restrictions. You cannot sell your wife, your kids, or the pet dog, but almost everything else is fair game. Come on out and check it out.
We also have some awesome food vendors that want to keep us all fat and sassy while looking at cool hot rods. Speaking of Hot Rods, that’s what we are all here for. So get your cars dialed in, shined up, let your friends know where you will be on Saturday, and get them out here as well.
What more can you possibly ask for? If you haven’t been up to our show yet, ask yourself, why? Why haven’t I come up there yet? There’s always a first time for everything, so get up here and join us.
Guys, Keep this in mind, City Center Cruise In. 3-6pm Port Orange. Saturday June 8th. Set your clocks, put up sticky notes, set a reminder timer.

Cruisers.
Well, another weekend in the books and the weather had been great. No complaints so far, unless you are a rocket launch fan, then we all are kinda disappointed with ULA not getting the Boeing Starliner off the ground. The launch has been pushed out to June 5th, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on it.
Anyways…

Sure, you can continue to go to Canal Street, and sweat your nuts off on that street, pay for sponsorship and get announced by the show DJ, but we offer shade, a FREE show, with no registration and if DJ Weasel thinks about it, he can announce you for free. As much as you want as well.

Hey, Not only has East Coast Cruisers brought on the heat with our terrific car shows, DJ Weasel has gotten into the act. He has found a way to keep a tradition going, as in???
INTRODUCING: Hold your breaths and applause until after you read this.
1st Annual Sorry Charlie’s Corner Father’s Day Car and Truck Show.
Here’s the story behind this. With the Crossroads Christian Church being taken over by another church, the new church had decided that doing car shows and Fall festivals weren’t their style. They decided not to continue the great yearly tradition. So Charlie, the owner of Sorry Charlie’s Corner decided to take a stab on hosting a Father’s Day Show. And man has he ever stepped in for this show.
Let me tell you all about it.
We are going to have food vendors, like All Flavors Bistro, DTK Sweet treats, Tennessee Steve Trash Ice Cream, Best Kettie Corn and Shark Bite Jerky and Southern State of Mind. Just to mention a few, we will also have the lots of Photographers there for the show, Magrich Photography, Action Daytona, Newton Light Casting, Ken’s Journey, and Drive By Cars with Alan. DJ Weasel will be smoking us out with his ass kicking mixture of the classics, cruising music and rock. What more can you ask for?
Wait, I know what else. Cars and Trucks, Hot rods and classics, Modern and Foreign rides. It’s going to EPIC! To go on, there will be a 50/50, giveaways, and more.
Details: First off, pay attention on this one, To REGISTER FOR THIS SHOW, YOU MUST COME AND SEE DJ WEASEL at Port Orange on Saturday or at Iron Axe on Sunday for a registration form. The first 200 to preregister will get a 1st annual T shirt for the show.
Second. East coast Cruisers will be helping with parking for the show. We just ask for your patience as we get you all parked. We are expecting a huge turnout for this show!
