Another one back on the road! 🔧✅

Finished up replacing all 4 fuel injectors on this 2017 Honda Fit.

A lot of people don’t realize these newer Fits use a direct injection fuel system, which makes this job a little more involved than a standard injector replacement.

One thing worth mentioning: to remove the fuel rail, the high-pressure fuel feed line has to come off. Honda considers this line a one-time-use part because the sealing surfaces are designed to crush when torqued to spec. That means if it’s removed, it should be replaced to ensure a proper seal and prevent fuel leaks.

We always follow manufacturer recommendations and don’t cut corners, even when it means replacing an expensive part. Doing the job right the first time is always cheaper than doing it twice.

Big job knocked out this weekend at Kam’s Car Care 🔧

Customer brought in a 2017 Ford F-150 2.7 EcoBoost 4x4 with concerns about an oil leak, thinking it might be coming from the oil pan. After a full inspection, I confirmed the oil pan was indeed the source of the leak.

On these F-150s, the oil pans are a one-time-use design—meaning you can’t just replace a gasket, the entire pan has to be replaced. We went over options, and the customer chose to upgrade to an aftermarket aluminum oil pan instead of the factory plastic setup.

Got everything swapped out and sealed up properly—no more leaks and a more durable setup moving forward 💪

Another repair knocked out today. 🔧

Customer brought in a 2019 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel with a fuel leak while running. After inspection I found the cylinder #5 injector return fitting leaking, causing fuel to run down the driver side of the engine.

Replaced the return line clips on that bank while everything was apart, reassembled, and verified no more fuel leaks. Truck is back to running properly.

Another clean job knocked out today at Kam’s Car Care

Got this 2014 Mustang GT 5.0 taken care of and back on the road running strong. Today’s service included:

- Upgraded to Gen 3 Coyote valve covers (driver & passenger side)
- All-new spark plugs installed
- Replaced all 4 VCT solenoids
- New oil dipstick & tube fitted

Everything went smooth and the car is running better than ever.
