Hi Neighbors! Today marks one week since having my subclavian vein opened up, three weeks since having my surgery, and four weeks since I've kicked the compressor on and got my hands greasy! I'm healing up really well! And I can't wait to do something besides sit around!

It may not feel it outside at the moment, but that little furball from Punxsutawney was pretty close in his prediction! The ten day forecast is showing temps in the 50s, sounds like spring is coming in hot! Start thinking about snow tire removal.

If you don't need tires swapped, consider if you'll need another service during the 2 month tire season rush, and get it done now, or on the calendar for later. I won't be back in action on Forest Drive until May, but I'd love to hear from you in the meantime over at Hart’s Auto Repair on Rt 7! (802)349-8015

UPDATE! My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday the 10th! The recovery time is much longer than I had anticipated. Sully's Place will be closed until around May 1st, when I'll have all restrictions removed from using my arm. In the meantime, my friend Sam at Hart’s Auto Repair has been gracious enough to team up with me and give me some work, while giving you customers the same level of service you've come to expect here! Please call them at (802)349-8015, located in the old McGrath Carpet building! By March I hope to be running that phone line for Sam.

HAPPY 2026!

A quick update on the business! On 5/30/25 I found out I had two blood clots in my right arm. In September I received a diagnosis of Venous Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, likely caused by my profession. I've thankfully been able to continue working, while requiring an anticoagulant until a correction can be made. I have scheduled that correction!

SO - Sully's Place will be closed for the whole month of February while my arm is immobile. Send tots and pears to the surgery team down at Mass General on Feb 3, and as soon as I get an idea as to when I can start up again, I will try to let everyone know, and start scheduling the summer tire installs. It's scary to close down for a month and hope people can wait or will return, but I also feel confident and secure having known this community my whole life. Thank you to all who have supported me up to now, I hope I have had a positive impact on your lives as well!

Book recs and secret ice fishing holes appreciated.

Replacing the head gasket on a Chrysler LeBaron. The split in the gasket was pressurizing the cooling system and causing the engine to overheat.
