We see it all the time—an RV awning left out during storms because it's providing shade and keeping things dry.
The problem? Your awning was designed primarily as a sunshade, not as a weatherproof umbrella.

The rain may seem harmless, but flooded roads can become deadly in a matter of seconds.

Just a few inches of moving water can sweep a vehicle off the roadway, and it's impossible to know what's beneath the surface. Roads can be washed out, debris can be hidden below the water, and conditions can change rapidly.

Today, we're encouraging everyone across Texas Hill Country to slow down, stay alert, and avoid flooded crossings. No destination is worth risking your life, your family, or your vehicle.

If you encounter a flooded roadway:

🚫 Do not attempt to cross
🚫 Do not drive around barricades
🚫 Do not assume your truck, SUV, or RV can make it through
✅ Find an alternate route

🚨 WEATHER CLOSURE NOTICE 🚨

Due to the ongoing heavy rainfall, flooding concerns, and hazardous road conditions throughout our service area, RV Rescue Rangers will be closed for the remainder of the day and will not be responding to emergency service calls.

The safety of our team, our customers, and everyone sharing the road comes first. Current conditions make travel unsafe, and we will not risk crossing flooded roadways or operating in dangerous weather conditions.

📞 Our phones will remain on until 6:00 PM today to answer questions, schedule future appointments, and assist with non-emergency concerns. However, we are not dispatching technicians for emergency repairs today.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to avoid flooded roads and stay safe until conditions improve.

The Rescue Rangers Are Safe... But We're Not Going Anywhere! 🌧️🚐

We're actually out on a service call rescuing an RV today, but after getting the job done, Mother Nature had other plans.

With heavy rain falling and roads flooding around us, the safest option is to stay put and wait it out. We'd rather be moving on to the next adventure, but no repair is worth risking our truck, trailer, or safety on flooded roads.

So for now, the RV Rescue Rangers Command Center is parked under cover, watching the weather and waiting for conditions to improve.

A good technician knows how to fix things. A great technician knows when to sit tight and let the storm pass.
