Excel Driving School Excel Driving School offers students the opportunity to meet the State of Illinois Driver Education requirements on a schedule that fits their needs.

Today, students under 18 are required to hold their permit for 9 months prior to obtaining their license; Excel Driving School offers courses every two weeks to provide students the flexibility needed for them to obtain their license on their birthday. Our 30 Hours of Classroom Instruction are offered in Four, Eight, and Fifteen Week sessions for your convenience. Students are required to earn pas

sing grades, minimum test scores of 70% ensure that your student gains a full understanding of the rules of the road. One of the benefits of working with Excel is that behind the wheel appointments are set by you! Excel Driving School matches your student up with an instructor and you determine your own drive times based on the availability of you and your partner. Excel drivers will pick up and drop off students at home, school, and even basketball practice. Excel understands and stresses the importance of experience in real life driving situations; because of this we do not utilize simulators. You can trust that your student is obtaining the skills and knowledge they will need to become safe, defensive drivers. Please understand that Excel Driving School will not rush students through the behind the wheel process as we stress the importance of practice.
