When I took over ProGlass in 2023, we were still what the company had been since 2021 — a windshield repair company.

And for a while, I wanted to keep it that way. Get really good at one thing and build around it.

But one thing I’ve learned through building a business is that sometimes the plan changes as you grow.

We kept running into customers whose glass couldn’t be repaired, and every time it happened, we had to send them somewhere else.

So in 2026, I decided it was time to learn a completely new side of the industry and add auto glass replacement.

There’s been a learning curve. New tools, new skills, new systems to create in order to facilitate this new service — but that’s also been one of my favorite parts of this journey.

We’re still repair-first. If we can save your windshield, we will.

We’re just becoming a company that can do more for the people who trust us with their vehicles.

It’s pretty cool looking at photos like this and thinking about how different the business looked when I took over three years ago.

Still a lot to learn. Still a lot to build. I’m excited about where it’s going.

2019 Mustang door glass replacement in Montgomery, Illinois.

A broken window is more than just an inconvenience — your car is exposed, unsecured, and usually needs to be handled sooner rather than later.

We replaced this door glass and got this Mustang sealed back up and back on the road.

Most places will tell you to replace it. Not necessarily because they’re wrong — repairing glass is a completely different skill than replacing, and a lot of shops simply don’t do it.

This crack? Saved. Not replaced.

Of course we want a repair to look as good as possible, but appearance isn’t the main goal. The priority is restoring the structural integrity of the glass and stopping the damage from spreading.

Today, I am 25 years old. I never imagined I would be where I’m at today. When I started ProGlass, it was simple.

It was me, my tools, and a commitment to do every job the right way.

But as the business grew, I realized building a company was about much more than learning how to repair a windshield.

The work itself was only one part of the journey.

I had to learn how to sell, how to communicate the value of what we do, how to create processes, and how to build systems that allowed the business to run consistently.

That meant creating better workflows, improving how we handled scheduling and customer communication, investing in equipment, and finding ways to make every part of the customer experience better.

Because growing a business isn’t just about getting more jobs. It’s about building the foundation that allows you to handle those jobs the right way.

Over the years, ProGlass has grown from a windshield repair business into a company that works with dealerships, homeowners, and businesses across the area.

We’ve expanded into services like refinishing headlights and windshield protection film, but the biggest growth has happened behind the scenes.

Learning the business side.

Learning how to market.

Learning how to sell.

Learning how to build systems instead of just relying on effort.

That’s been one of the biggest lessons of this journey — turning a skill into a company takes more than knowing how to do the work. It takes learning everything that happens before the work is even started. All glory belongs to God, because without Him, none of this would be possible.

Another day. Another dealership. Another reminder of why I started this.

When I first got into this industry, I thought I was just fixing windshields.

Over time, I realized it was never really about the glass.

It’s about solving problems the right way.

I’ve never wanted to be the company that replaces the most windshields. I’ve always wanted to be the company people trust to recommend the right solution.

That means repairing a windshield instead of replacing it when it’s safe to do so. Refinishing headlights instead of replacing expensive assemblies. Protecting windshields with film before they ever get damaged.

Whether we’re working on a dealership lot, in someone’s driveway, or at their workplace, the goal never changes: do the job right, treat people honestly, and leave them better off than when we arrived.

Some days it’s rock chip repairs. Some days it’s long crack repairs. Other days it’s refinishing headlights or applying windshield protection film. Every service we offer exists for the same reason—to help people protect their vehicles and avoid unnecessary costs whenever possible.

This business has been built one repair, one conversation, and one relationship at a time. That’s something I’ll never take for granted.
