Hey everyone! I have just finished my first collaboration project with my good friend Joe Duran, owner of Duran Truck and Auto. The happy customers are now driving it to Colorado.
We did a total color change, added fender flares, steel rear corner plates, rocker panel guard/ step, aftermarket front and rear bumpers, spare tire mount, winch, 4"lift, Pro Comp wheel and tire package, bed lined entire floor of Jeep, had seat reupholstered, new Grant steering wheel, and paracord wrapped the door pull straps in US Marine Corp red and gold with Marine Corp badges.

Wassaponin'? Great news, I dusted off my paint gun last week and did a small job with Joe Peter Duran of Duran Truck And Auto. Man, do I miss working on cars. So I'm going to try it out again, but working at Duran's.
The next project is a Jeep Wrangler. So I will now change the location of G-Tribe Cutoms to Nampa, Idaho.

Que Onda todos!! Wass happonin'!! 🤩

I know it has been a long time since I have check in or posted anything in a long while. Sorry about that, but as we all know, Life happens. I think I mentioned before that I was going to move to Idaho and try to reopen another shop. Well, the move happened , but the shop idea ended up on the back burner. 😪

Yesterday I took my '86 Dojiban to get the smog check done. There is this cool old school service station on 2nd St out here in Nampa, Idaho. I noticed the smog check sign on the outside of the building several times that I have driven by. So I thought I would swing by and check it out.🕵️‍♂️

I was met by Joe Duran, the shop owner/ operator. I asked about getting the smog check done, and he had time for me. All right! 🤙

After he was done, we just started talking story about cars. We both agreed how much love we have for cars, and how cars runs through our veins. I told him how much I missed it, and how I wished I could get my boys together and open a shop, and how I realized that would never happen. 😡

Ever since I had the heat stroke in 2011, I have not been able to work as hard as I used to on cars, well, not without getting sick again. I mean I can still turn a wrench, sling paint, and buff a mirror finish on a paint job. Just not as fast as I used to do.🤮🤒🤕

I showed Joe the pics I have posted in my albums here on my page. We were looking at all the rides I worked on. He said if I wanted, he send work my way. 😳

Uh oh, Joe just dropped that bug in my ear...🤔

Howz it everyone?! Thank you to those who have been visiting and liking this page during my break. Good news is I am leaving Cali and relocating to Idaho to help start up a new shop. Not for myself but to teach and pass down my knowledge. Not just textbook techniques, but the tricks of the trade they don't teach in schools. It will be a family owned venture. The shop won't be G Tribe Customs, so I will post the new name later when we get started.

Hey everyone. This is Danny, Owner/Operator of G Tribe Customs with some updates. But first I would like to thank those of you who still visitsmy page.
I'm still in San Jose. I'm still working for Pacific Gas and Electric. I still haven't recoverd from my illnesses. I really miss working on the old cars.
Hopefully I can find a way to return to doing what I love.

I am looking forward to hooking up my wife, Vanessa's 2000 VW Golf. If you all have any ideas let me know.

Whassup! Everyone, hope everyone is doing well. Just went to my nieces baby shower, there will soon be another Gutierrez family member, too cool! Soon, in May is Mother's Day, and 3 G Tribe family birthdays. I'll be there for that, and I'm going to team up with a friend in San Jose to do some work for them. So it's gonna happen soon, G Tribe Customs will be open in Cali. I will keep you all posted. Also, if your near the Bay area, and you have a car you want done, save your money and write down your ideas. I can make the ride of your dreams come true! Peace out, and until next time. Danny

This is my latest and final toy for a while. I've always wanted a 2 wheel drive Suburban or Tahoe from 94 and up. Lucky me, I found one already lowered with updated Silverado rims. It has low miles for a Texas truck. All it needs are a few minor details to make it perfect, then she goes under the gun and a chrome upgrade.
