Knucklehead Motorworks was created to provide services for owners of all noncurrent production air cooled Harley-Davidson ™ motorcycles. We saw the need to provide our experience to owners of these motorcycles. Like you we have developed a bond with our bikes and we felt there are no longer mechanics or parts representatives with the experience in some Harley dealerships to correctly repair these
older bikes. We have over 55 years combined riding experience and nearly 35 years in the repairing of Harley-Davidson ™ motorcycles, most of it at the dealership level, we use this passion and experience in all of our services. As our name indicates Knuckleheads are our favorite model (I have been riding the same one unchanged for over 30 years) and we are very familiar with nearly all of the air-cooled V twins to have come out of Milwaukee since the early 1930s, up to and including the Twin Cam ™. Our specialty is the powertrain, however we can and do complete build ups/restorations, maintenance services, repairs, electrical work (including generator rebuilding and testing) on the complete motorcycle. We offer a pick-up service for customers with non-operating bikes and hot testing/running on all of our complete rebuild/overhauling of engines.
