I’m a bit late getting this out, but life’s been hectic and I’m just now catching up. Thank you slushmotorsports for putting on one of the biggest spectator events of the year at my home track, it was an awesome experience.

Huge shoutout to elitecustomstn for not only giving me the chance to drive, but also for the last-minute hospitality letting me pit out of your booth. Your team made me feel right at home and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Big thanks to lm_john_midsouth for the new windshield banner that kept the sun out of my eyes, and for liquimoly.usa.canada for making exceptional oils that keep my car performing reliably at redline.

Last week we had the chance to branch out and do something different with a familiar chassis. Our friends at forgedroad brought us their MK6 Jetta to transform into a rallycross machine, and it got the full treatment:

•Brand new adjustable Koni shocks
•EBC brakes for better stopping power
•A complete front-end refresh with Powerflex polyurethane bushings, including the motor mounts
•And to keep it safe off-road, an ECS Tuning aluminum belly pan to protect the drivetrain

We finished it all off with a precise alignment and a proper brake bed-in. Now this Jetta is dialed in and ready to hit the dirt for its first rallycross adventure!
