Wahl Racing Demolition Derby Team Tim Wahl Racing is a demoltion derby team based in Munger, Mi that has been in operation since 1998. Now sit back, and enjoy the ride!

During that time, we've destroyed a few cars while coming close to victory, but previously coming up short. The leaders of team are focused on continually racing each year to keep our county fairs entertaining. We specialize in running Figure 8 and Autocross races with hopefully more Demolition Derbies to come. It's a lot of work to put together cars to be competitive these days, but we are determined to compete far into the future.

2025 Derby Season Recap
Following six derbies, our team secured awards at five of them.
Tim II achieved first place in Munger and Traverse City, and second place in Richmond at the USA State Championship.
Mike secured second place in Fairgrove and third place at Bay County.
This year was made particularly special by Tim Sr. coming out of retirement to participate in the Munger Potato Festival, where all three Wahl boys competed and created lifelong memories.
We extend our gratitude to our sponsors, friends, and families for their unwavering support, which made this 2025 season possible. At Wahl Racing, we appreciate the support received throughout the year and look forward to the opportunities that 2026 will bring.

I sure enjoy a good classic car junkyard. We have had luck finding buried treasure, some literally! Tim found a 76 Monte front bumper buried at the bottom of a bumper pile, and Mike found an 80s Vic front bumper buried in the woods!
