🌬️ Is your A/C blowing hot air or just not keeping you cool? 🚗❄️

Before assuming you need a major A/C repair, don't overlook one of the simplest causes—a dirty cabin air filter.

A clogged cabin filter can restrict airflow through your vents, making your A/C feel weak and less effective. It can also allow dust, pollen, and other debris to circulate inside your vehicle.

While a dirty cabin filter won't usually make the air itself hot, it can significantly reduce the amount of cool air reaching you, making it seem like your A/C isn't working properly.

If your A/C isn't performing like it should, let us inspect your cabin air filter and your A/C system. Sometimes the fix is simple, and if it's something more, we'll help you find the right solution.

***Think about all this smoke in our air and the ash from the fires coming here. We recommend replacing at least 1 time this fire season, both cabin and the air filter for your engine.****

🚗 **Thinking about recharging your car's A/C with one of those refrigerant cans? Think twice.**

Those DIY A/C recharge kits might seem like a quick, inexpensive fix, but they can actually cause bigger (and more expensive) problems.

Here's why:
❄️ **You can't tell if your system is low without proper equipment.** A vehicle's A/C system is sealed. If it's low on refrigerant, there's usually a leak that needs to be found and repaired—not just topped off.

⚠️ **Too much refrigerant is just as bad as too little.** Overcharging the system can reduce cooling performance and even damage expensive components like the compressor.

🔧 **You may be treating the symptom, not the problem.** Poor A/C performance can be caused by leaks, faulty sensors, electrical issues, a bad compressor, clogged components, or cooling fan problems. A recharge won't fix those.

🌎 **Improper handling of refrigerant isn't good for the environment.** Professional shops have the equipment to safely recover, measure, and recharge your system to the manufacturer's specifications.

A reputable repair shop will properly diagnose the issue, repair it the right way, and recharge your A/C with the correct amount of refrigerant. It may cost a little more upfront, but it can save you from much larger repair bills later.

Stay cool, and when it comes to your A/C, trust a professional—not a can.
