An update on this for those of you that don’t know! It took a lot longer to get the permits than expected, but we have them and have started moving dirt! The new shop will be 100x60 of shop space alone! The store front, offices, & customer waiting lounge is built on to the side of that! This building is going to be right along a major roadway, minutes from the turnpike! When the new shop is complete we will throw an open house!
Also with the additional space we will have a large inventory of both oem and aftermarket parts as well as enough space to do more work on heavy duty engines and class 8 trucks which we have a HUGE amount of experience in!

Getting ready to install some head studs
This is gonna be a fun street truck when it’s done!
A lot of people know i dont like glowshift gauges so here’s a fine example, this truck was having some rail pressure issues, it had a glowshift rail pressure gauge hooked up at the time, it was reading 1k lower than the edge cts2 (which is what the ecm sees) so out of curiosity I unplugged the gauge out of the loop to see what would happen and I found out 2 things
1). The truck was actually making 3k less rail pressure than what I had previously thought cause the gauge was causing the reading to be false to the ecm at WOT
2). Even if the truck had been hitting commanded rail pressure @WOT with the gauge hooked up, it would have still been 3k low and no one would have even known, but the setup wouldn’t have been performing to its full potential cause the ecm would have thought it was fueling correctly!
Final thought, this is why I prefer to use a Edge Cts2, cause any product/gauge plugged inline between a sensor and the Ecm can distort the reading! The edge sees what the ecm sees and you’re a lot less likely to be viewing and/or causing false readings, and you can still add sensors like a boost sensor for the edge to read actual boost pressure and not be limited by the factory map sensor, along with adding egt probes, temperature sensors, etc. as well as many other functions like read/clear codes, data log, maintenance reminders etc.
If you still prefer to have an actual gauge setup, buy quality products, you get what you pay for 99% of the time and it is your engine you’re monitoring, having the most accurate readings and not causing issues is worth the extra money! Plus I have seen more glowshift gauge failures than all others combined!
