The 6.4 has a bad reputation but truth be known it is one of the most powerful engines in the Powerstroke series, especially when some tasty adjustments are done. Lack of quality control and areas of engineering were the demise of this engine BUT we have invested a lot of money and machinery into our Research and Development of this engine that was a Diamond in the rough from Ford...we cut it down, polished it up, and placed it on a firm setting that would make this engine not only be able to HOLD The power it can produce and not self destruct itself (if not taken care of properly and abused) but also create longevity and reliability like the 7.3 is famously known for! Anybody who has driven a 6.4 whether they like it or hate it seems to alway be impressed by the power although the failures they hear about ultimately turn them away. We take the doubt and fear away from 6.4s with the engines we build and we would love to take the fear away from you as well.
