The Music for Everyone (MFE) Community Program celebrates it’s 16th year of bringing Keys for the City to the streets of Lancaster!

Keys for the City is a mixed media public art project that features custom-designed pianos which are displayed throughout the city, accessible 24/7 and provide access to musical opportunity, foster creativity and build a sense of community on our public streets. In the process, raising resource awareness for local music and visual arts education initiatives!

Our very own Scot Lasher at our Chapman Collision Center of Lancaster took on designing & painting a piano now displayed right out front of the Lancaster Parking Authority building across from the Prince St. Garage. We’re proud to continue our support of the Lancaster community!

Hear from one of our latest Master Technicians Sergio Goicochea: “I would like to share my personal journey that led me to join the Chapman Ford family. I was born in Lima, Peru, in 1990 and moved to the United States in 2006. During my early years here, I would often drive by the Chapman Ford dealership and think to myself, "One day, I will work there" In 2017, everything came together for me to leave my past behind and relocate to Pennsylvania to pursue that dream. My passion for technology has always been a significant driving force in my life, and the car industry, with its constant technological advancements, naturally drew me in.
To embark on this path, I enrolled at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) to study Automotive Science and specialized in Ford by participating in the Ford FACT program. While attending an event at school, I had the opportunity to meet Ed Boyle. Although I didn't apply for a job at that time because I was still living full-time in Pennsylvania, I was determined to join the company in some capacity.
I eventually applied at Chapman Ford in Columbia, PA, where I worked through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. During my time there, I met some incredible people and formed great friendships that significantly contributed to my professional growth. In 2021, I made the decision to return to my hometown, armed with valuable experience, and applied for a position at the Egg Harbor Township dealership. Since then, I have received incredible support to complete my training, and I'm proud to share that in 2024, I reached the first level of Master Technician.
Recently in 2025, I had the privilege of attending the Motor City Masters program in Detroit.
This experience allowed me to connect with some awesome technicians who were navigating the similar experiences and going through the same situations I faced, which reinforced my belief that I am exactly where I belong. I am now more motivated than ever to grow and to represent the Ford brand proudly—a testament to my journey from a kid who came from nothing.
Thank you for allowing me to share my story. I'm excited about what the future holds and am grateful to be part of such an innovative and supportive team!”
