We at MorSpeed are so excited! We are within weeks of moving into our new shop. This will make production much more effective. David Warren can now work even harder at production for our sister company . Steffany Fenn and Camille Warren can now do more manual labor, Chris Fenn can now work 2 jobs and Tony and I are training James “Jimbo” Fenn how to be an awesome supervisor just like me!

MorSpeed and our sister company TMC Carburetors are represented at The US Street Nationals by Dave and Vicki Fulton and Chris and Steffany Fenn. Dave is running the Fulton/Morris Monte Carlo in the 6.50 class. Tony and Teri and crew chief James Fenn are in Gainesville Raceway running the first points race of the year. RIP Terry Phelps

Yesterday we celebrated the life of a dear friend Terry Phelps, Tony met Terry when he worked at BLP Racing Products and ended up working under him in the carb department. When he moved back to the machine shop he helped Tony learn all the ins and outs of running the carb department as the carb shop manager.

Terry was also instrumental in helping establish TMC Carburetors and without he’s help it simply wouldn’t of got of the ground, Terry would manufacture the products for TMC and together they would improve and develop new ones.

Terry raced back in the day in go carts and road racing, also working for Bo Laws Automotive in Orlando in the late 70’s though the mid 1980’s helping develop products like the alcohol carburetor and belt drive fuel pumps among other things, then moving on to open his own machine shop. Bo Laws would later purchase Terry machine shop bringing Terry back into the fold and into the BLP family.

Last year Terry took Davey Warren III under his wing and mentor him, passing on all his knowledge, in his words “I don’t want what I’ve learned to go to waste.”

We will continue with Terry’s legacy with Morspeed Manufacturing and we hope we make him proud.

I more qualifying run then Round 1 today. It’s a beautiful day at Beech Bend Raceway. High temp is 85 humidity is low (for us) and we are ready to turn on the win lights! TNT Racing is back on the track!

Congratulations going out to Lindy Herman, who took TMC team mate Stewart Herman and his brother car to the final and placed the Nova on the dance floor!

MorSpeed Manufacturing is fully licensed to manufacture TWIN BLADE carburetor components (pat # D748149), & Upper Fuel Jets (pat # 10036357) Terry Phelps transformed Mike Laws' innovative ideas into SolidWorks solid models & produced the CAD programming for his team to manufacture the prototypes & production versions of the highly successful Twin Blade products.

Terry Phelps has been in the performance racing industry since developing the first working alcohol carburetor in collaboration with BO & Mike Laws at BLP (then known as Bo Laws Automotive) since the 1980’s.
Mike Laws has a long history in the performance racing community, and he has licensed PMRD to manufacture parts under his patents for the Twin Blade Carburetor and Upper Fuel Jets.
Phelps Machine Research & Development, Inc., now PMRD Products, has been manufacturing component parts in our machine shop for decades, supplying BLP and other racing oriented companies with engineering, solid modeling, and CAD programming.

The MorSpeed manufacturing of prototypes and production components is expertly processed by David Warren III who has been taken under the wing of Terry Phelps.

MorSpeed Mfg. was formed in February 2025 by Teri K Warren, Tony Morris of TMC Carburetors and David Warren III. We will be taking over where PMRD Phelps Machinery and Research Developement left off and if you were a past customer of Terry's we will do our best to serve you as well. Morspeed Mfg. is a carburetor parts manufacturer who exclusively supplies TMC Tony Morris Carburetors with components. We are also officially licensed to manufacture the trademarked "Twin Blade" carburetor components, which are exclusively available to order through TMC Tony Morris Carburetors. We are looking to expand our sales starting in a few months and we have 4 CNC machines at our disposal. PMRD 4500 BILLET CARBURETORS

Coming soon from PMRD 4500 Main Body’s and Baseplates, 1050 and 1175 sizes will be available soon followed by 1250 shortly after!

1050 will have a 1.750 Venturi with a 2.00 throttle bore, the 1175 will have a 1.820 Venturi with a 2.125 throttle bore!
