From one dad to another, welcome to the Preferred Living Homes family Joe D'Elia. And now for the rest of the story...

As many of you know, my son Reece and I started this business in July of last year and to say it has been a fun ride so far is a huge understatement. After our first month, our daughter Julia joined us and what mom is going to let that happen without getting involved which is when my wife Carey jumped in.

You know Penny and Meme who help with our financing and real estate respectively and we now consider them family as well.

Well Joe is about to be family since Reece is engaged to marry his amazing daughter Maddie.

Joe and I were just talking about the fact that there needs to be a term for us fellow father-n-laws and Joe said let's make up the term "family-n-laws" and that works just great with me.

Joe comes in with decades of sales experience at a high level and he is working with us in sales and helping us grow our spec home business as well as future expansion.

We pride ourselves on treating people like family whether customers, contractors, lenders or employees but we also have the privilege of being family and that tradition continues with Joe.
We run this business like we would want someone to treat my mom if she were buying a house and after meeting Joe, you will see how well he fits in with our focus on honesty, consistency and value building in every relationship we have.

It would be hard to really put into words how much I have enjoyed watching my son and this business evolve and while I don't have much responsibility around here day to day it's comforting knowing that our core business philosophy is in good hands now with Joe joining the team.
