🤷🏼‍♀️Imagine just for a second that , you and your family are middle class and lost everything in a so called Hurricane,your saving is very minimal because of the economy . Your government Kamala says FEMA is going to hand out 750.00 per family but first you have to qualify and apply for it ,before you get it. Your President says he donated all he can donate, it is now up to the American people to help.
Now imagine that you, for the last 4 years have watch 100 billion tax payers dollars go to Ukraine and just this week 17 billion dollars be given to 3 different countries, now imagine watching hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants get a free cell phone, an average of 2,400 a month on a debit card , food stamps and free health care and free housing.. NOW CAN you TELL ME they are for the American people. Asking for all the states affected by the hurricane. You may not like Trump but he donated 25 million dollars, brought a tanker of Gas and multiple semi trucks full of supplies. Started a Go fund me page that raised half a million dollars in 17 minutes and ask Elon musk to bring in starlink . Bottom line he showed up and did something. Like him or hate him . Actions matter.

Peter Comey was officially DLA Piper “Senior Director of Real Estate Operations for the Americas,” in 2015 when the Clinton Foundation scandals first broke and Hillary was preparing her Presidential campaign. Not only was DLA Piper, the firm where Comey’s brother worked involved in the audit of the Clinton Foundation, but according to the foundation’s donor records, DLA Piper has given between $50 - 100k to the Foundation It gets even cozier. DLA Piper executive Douglas Emhoff is taking an extended leave of absence from the firm. Who is Douglas Emhoff? He is the husband of KAMALA HARRIS! Just a strange coincidence? Amazing if it is. You can't make this stuff up! Another example of the DC swamp.”

Maybe if people's heads weren't buried in the sand of ignorance and they took the time to understand, instead of judging and thinking it won't happen to them because they have the perfect family, life would be a little bit easier for people that do experience this! For family and friends who live under this shadow. The days of 'it' not being talked about or being taboo should be over. In the most difficult moments of life you realize who your true friends are, and the people who really appreciate you. Unfortunately, most social media 'friends' aren't true friends. They will send you a "like" here and there, but in reality they do not take time to read your status if they see it's lengthy. More than half will stop reading right here, or have already scrolled on to the next post on their page. I decided to post this message in support of all those who continue to battle with their mental illness. (Su***de is at an all time high). Now, let's see who will have taken the time to read this lengthy post right through to the end. If you have read everything so far, please "like" it so that I can put a thank you on your page. More mental health awareness is urgently needed. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean people aren't suffering. Please, try to spare a little of your time with someone who may just want to talk (about anything). Talking can help us all to cope a little more, keeping things bottled up just makes it worse. Most people will say, "if you need anything, don't hesitate to call me, I'll be there to help you" but will they? I believe a select few of my friends will post this, to show their support for those who may be struggling. You just have to copy and paste rather than sharing. Life is too short 😢 Years ago we were all like family. Everyone looked out for each other. We ate together and drank together, and were worried about each other. We need to get back to this. We need to take care of each other instead of breaking each other down. I'm going to make a bet, that out of my "family" and "friends" less than 6 will take the time to copy and post this.. Who are my SIX. I bet I’m shocked.

Dragstrips.

The next time you pull through the gates of any dragstrip remember a few things….

First and foremost it’s a business. It is a way of the owner/operator to provide for his/her family. Most of these dragstrips that are left are an owner/operator based business. Why? Because nobody is getting rich owning a drag strip, there is no “oh let me buy a drag strip and sit home and let it make money for me”. It is not a good investment if that’s what you are after. It’s a hard, grueling, unrewarding business.

These people who own these tracks and all the staff who work at them give up their holidays, Labor Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, New Years Eve and many more. Every weekend, week nights, miss their kids and grandkids birthdays, miss their kids sports games, miss their kids concerts or plays at school, they miss anniversaries and much much more for 9/10 months out of the year. Think about it, just really really think about it. Think about what you do day to day and lay it over with a tracks schedule. All of that time missed with your family to be at the racetrack and most likely not getting any sort of respect or appreciation for the work you are doing. Just because you aren’t there because the style of racing you race isn’t on those weekends or days doesn’t mean they aren’t because they are.

It’s also a way of the staff to provide for their family. So the next time you want to whine, cry, throw a temper tantrum, spit at and or try and fight the staff over some bu****it just remember people are doing their jobs. Just as you do at your job. We are all human, we all make mistakes, most likely YOU make mistakes at work and nobody throws a temper tantrum online about you or yells in your face. The next time you want to complain or run to social media and make a complaint about some bu****it, remember you are attacking a small business. You are attacking someone who is working so you can have fun and play with your toys.

This business is not an easy one by any means, in order to do this you need to love drag racing to the point of it almost being an addiction. You need to be a little fu**in crazy in the head to want to own/operate or work full time at a race track.

There is plenty more I can say but I feel like I’ve rambled enough, but lastly just remember racing is supposed to be fun, it’s a hobby, these are grown up toys and don’t forget that.

So support your local track and more importantly don’t be a fu**in as***le, cause in the end they are giving you a playground to play on.

Racing is a privilege not a right.
