🌧️ Happy Thursday from Tribe Maintenance! 🌧️

With rough weather and possible flooding in the forecast, now is the time to make sure your family, vehicles AND generators are ready.

A few reminders from your Tribe:

🌀 Fill up your vehicles and fuel cans before the weather gets bad.
🌀 Check your oil, coolant, tires, battery, and wipers.
🌀 Get those generators ready NOW — check the oil, fuel, air filter, battery, and make sure it starts before you actually need it.
🌀 Have extra generator oil and the correct fuel on hand.
🌀 NEVER run a generator inside your home, garage, enclosed trailer, or other enclosed space. Keep it outside and safely away from doors, windows, and vents.
🌀 Have flashlights, chargers, drinking water, medications, and other emergency supplies ready.
🌀 Secure anything outside that could become airborne in high winds.
🌀 Avoid unnecessary travel once conditions start deteriorating.
🌀 NEVER drive through flooded roads. Turn around, don’t drown!

And remember — WATER AND OIL DON’T MIX! 💧🚗🛢️

Driving through deep water can cause water intrusion into your engine, transmission, differentials, wheel bearings, electrical components and more. If you don’t know how deep it is, DON’T CHANCE IT. A vehicle can be repaired or replaced — you can’t.

Get prepared before the weather gets here, check on your neighbors, protect your equipment, and stay weather aware. ❤️

🚛 YOUR FLEET MAY NOT NEED A FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE MANAGER.

It may just need a better system.

A full-time Fleet Maintenance Manager making $70,000 per year costs a business roughly:

💰 $5,833/month
💰 $1,346/week
💰 $33.65/hour

And that’s before payroll taxes, benefits, workers’ comp, and other employee expenses.

For a small or growing fleet, that position may not make financial sense.

But ignoring preventative maintenance doesn’t make sense either.

That’s where Tribe Maintenance can help.

We make staying on top of your fleet’s preventative maintenance simple.

📊 We provide an organized fleet maintenance tracker
🔧 We track the services we perform
📅 We help identify vehicles approaching their next service
📝 We maintain an organized service history
🚚 And when it’s time for maintenance, we come to you.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

About 10 minutes a week.

Designate someone on your team to update the current mileage for your vehicles once a week.

That’s it.

Those mileage updates help us see which vehicles are approaching their next preventative maintenance interval so you can schedule service before maintenance gets forgotten or pushed aside.

And because Tribe Maintenance is mobile, your employee doesn’t have to spend hours:

❌ Driving a company vehicle to the shop
❌ Sitting in a waiting room
❌ Finding a ride back to work
❌ Returning later to pick the vehicle up

Your employees stay working.
Your vehicles spend less time down.
Your maintenance stays organized.

You don’t necessarily need another $70,000-a-year employee.

You may just need 10 minutes a week and the right maintenance partner.

Happy Sunday, Tribe! ❤️

Just a little testimony of the goodness of God.

I would be lying if I said starting this business has been easy. There have definitely been valleys. There have been days I’ve questioned whether I was doing the right thing, and yes, there have even been days I’ve caught myself scrolling Indeed and looking at job postings because going back to something comfortable seemed a whole lot easier.

But God is always on time.

This morning at church, I was reminded of the Israelites. God had already promised them the Promised Land, but when they saw the giants they would have to face to get there, fear took over. What should have been a journey of faith turned into years of wandering in the wilderness.

And I couldn’t help but think about Tribe Maintenance.

Sometimes we pray for the promise but aren’t prepared for the wilderness that comes before it. Sometimes the giants look bigger than what God told us. And sometimes the road gets hard enough that going back starts looking pretty tempting.

But God never said it would be easy. He said He would be faithful.

Yesterday, while servicing a fleet, I snapped this picture from one of the vehicles—116°. 🥵

Hot. Tired. Covered in oil. A long day of work.

And today I can look at that 116° and smile because there was a time I was praying for the opportunities I’m now working in the heat to fulfill.

“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen.” — 2 Corinthians 1:20 KJV

There will be valleys. There will be giants. There will be days that test you.

He never said it would be easy.

But I refuse to let fear make me wander away from something God has called me to walk toward.

I’m thankful for every customer, every opportunity, every lesson, every hard day, and even the 116° ones. ❤️

The wilderness isn’t the destination.

Keep walking. The promise is still the promise.

We come to you because it takes a Tribe. 🔧❤️
