Happy Monday, Mobile! 🤙

Looks like we made it through another storm here on the Gulf Coast. We're thankful for that, but our thoughts and prayers are with everybody in Florida and the other areas that weren't as fortunate.

Keep those folks in your prayers as they start picking up the pieces.

We've been through plenty of these, Mobile. 🌀

With Hurricane Isaias heading our way, we just want to remind everybody to be safe.

Hurricanes are nothing new around here, but that doesn't mean we should take them lightly.

Get prepared, check on your neighbors, stay off flooded roads, and keep an eye on the weather.

This one was a little more than a fresh coat of paint. 🛞

Full color change on a set of Forgiatos, taking them from what they were and completely changing the look. Now we have some personality and individulaity with some pop. 🎨

Jobs like this are where the details matter. There’s nowhere to hide on a wheel like this, and when you’re changing the entire look, every piece has to come together right.

Definitely not an everyday job, but a very satisfying set to see finished. 👌

It’s a rainy one this weekend, Mobile. 🌧️

Watch those puddles and potholes — not just to protect your wheels, but to protect yourself.

Mobile was built on swamps and wetlands, and when it rains, it definitely reminds us.

Slow down, don’t trust a puddle you can’t see the bottom of, and give yourself a little extra room.

Be a local. Be safe. 🛞

Ken Bowles’ ’99 Tahoe pulled the most love on last week’s post, and we get it.

4/6 drop.
22x9 and 22x11 American Racing Torque Thrusts.
Clean, simple, and sitting exactly like one of these Tahoes should.

There’s something about a clean late-’90s full-size Chevy that just keeps getting better with age. No crazy explanation needed. Good stance, good wheel choice, and a platform that’ll never really go out of style.

Not every bent wheel can be replaced — or should be. 🛞

Especially when you’re dealing with a set of Boyd Coddington Ninjas, not to be confused with the iconic Tri-Fans.

This is one of those old-school billet designs that takes you straight back to the custom car and sport truck scene. In a world where everybody seems to be appreciating nostalgia a little more, keeping pieces from that era around just feels right.

When you’ve got a matching set of old-school wheels that aren’t sitting on every shelf anymore, replacing one isn’t always the answer or the right thing to respect what you are rolling on.

Sometimes you fix what you’ve got and keep a little piece of that era on the road.

The secret to quality is in the prep. 🛞

This is just one of our jobs today. A lot of what goes into getting a wheel right happens before the finished product ever starts taking shape.

Masking, cleaning, prepping, and taking the time to do it right.

The finished product gets the attention. The prep is what gets it there.👌
