Leaking like it just got some bad news and decided to let its feelings out all over the shop floor.

One minute you’re driving fine…

🔧 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 — Rear Differential Rebuild Time

This 2000 Ram 1500 came in with a loud noise coming from the rear differential. After tearing it down and inspecting the ring and pinion, we found those gears were still in good shape — but the pinion bearing had completely failed.

When a pinion bearing goes out, it can take the whole differential with it if you keep driving. So instead of patching it, we’re doing it the right way:
A full differential rebuild with all fresh bearings.
