It’s been a while….. rest assured we weren’t offline, just busy pondering perfection. The is the convertible 2-person bench seat. When not in use it folds up against the van wall and gives you a lot of floor space and when needed, it folds down to give you seating for 2! SuperPRO.

Slowly but surely the progress continues. We have dry fitted the Isotherm fridge and the Wallas diesel-fired convection oven. Just barely visible beneath the fridge you can just see the Webasto AirTop 55 diesel air heater for cabin comfort. Back to work!

The bedroom and garage walls are done! The wall covering came out really well and the epoxy finish in the garage will serve the owner well. The ceiling fabric works so well with the walls too, this is really looking nice!

We often talk about building to be unbuilt, but there is nothing more satisfying than installing elements for the final time! Arctic Tern windows are fully installed!

We are big fans of the flexibility provided by designing a lighting system with multiple independent circuits. Light what you need, when you need it. Otherwise enjoy the starry night and the campfire!

Sometimes it's the little things you have to find comfort and progress in. Yesterday it was wiring the switches for the garage lights and the rear flood lights. Labeling all the feed wires is a must and look for switch labels on the near future. The Rigid rear flood lights will be nice when packing up at dusk after a bike race or a camping trip.

The ceiling panels are finished and electrified! The real trick in any part of a professional van build is to assemble the elements while keeping disassembly in the front of your mind, all the time. Make no mistake, these panels have already been in and out half a dozen times and there are more in the future, I have no doubt. That's the difference between amateur and what we do.

Saturday turned out to be a lot of detail work. We got the freshwater sensor wired to the electrical system so now the owners can tell how much freshwater they’ve got in the tank and we also got the WeBoost wired so they can have extended Wi-Fi wherever they go. Back to work and happy Mother’s Day!
