Batman showed up at Wet Detail recently. He said he wanted us to put matte black stripes from front to back, PPF the frontend, and a paintcorrection with ceramic coating. We answered firmly to Batman’s request. He’s now back to fighting crime in the Midsouth whenever he’s needed 🦇

Wet Wednesday: Estimates, PPF & Tests

We’ve got a busy day ahead with plenty of walk-ins and estimates throughout the day. We also meet Caleb Adams, owner of Caleb’s Car Care, who buys Shine Supply products from us. He’s working on a paint correction for his friend’s truck.
Today is also our first test day of the school year.
We’ll walk you through some PPF installation, while Mark finishes up Struggle Jennings’ truck before it heads to the body shop.

It’s another packed day around the shop—let’s get to work!

Wet Wednesday: PPF, Homeschool & Scares!

Today is one of those FULL days around here—installing paint protection film, starting a chrome delete on a client’s roof rails, squeezing in homeschool, and of course… finding time to scare Mark. 🤣

Wet Wednesday: The Bat Mobile, Race Stripes & Wasps Nests 🦇
The “Bat Car” rolled into the shop for some custom race stripes, PPF, and a 1-step paint correction! Josh walks us through how we create custom stripes using knifeless tape.
Meanwhile, Mark and Ashton head into the outback—literally—to tackle a HUGE wasps nest… and let’s just say, things didn’t go exactly as planned. 🤣 Mark runs away, Ashton gets locked out, and somehow we all survived.

Wet Wednesday: Paint Correction, Back to School & PPF

Welcome to another episode of what’s happening in our shop!

Today marks our first day back to school. As many of you know, we homeschool our girls right here at the shop, so we’re balancing new grade levels with our normal daily chaos.

While the girls hit the books, Mark and Dustin tackle a one-step paint correction on a Black Buick Enclave, removing car wash swirls before finishing it with a ceramic coating for added gloss and long-lasting protection.

Meanwhile, Josh is installing Paint Protection Film on a BMW, giving it a full front-end and track pack to help defend against rock chips and road debris.

Some people tell us our little family reminds them of Bluey... and after today’s episode, you might just see why. Stick around until the very end to catch a glimpse of our real-life “Bingo.” 🐾

A returning client has trusted us with his truck through several upgrades over the past couple of years, and that’s one of our favorite ways to work.

Not every project has to happen all at once. We can tackle your vehicle in stages that make sense for your needs and your budget.

Today, I’m wrapping the mirrors and mirror stalks to give this 1996 Chevy Silverado a cleaner, more refreshed look while protecting those areas from further wear and tear.

Wet Wednesday: Specialty Paint Correction, Exterior Detailing & Mark’s Mom

Today’s workflow was packed with quotes, scheduling, customer drop-offs, and plenty of action in the shop.

We kicked off the morning by replacing a damaged section of paint protection film where our client scraped the film pulling into his garage—because standing behind our work and taking care of our customers always comes first.

Then it’s on to the meat and potatoes of the day as Josh performs a multi-step paint correction on a custom-painted truck, carefully bringing the finish to life panel by panel.

To wrap things up, Mark’s mom stops by to have her Cadillac washed... but instead of just watching, she gives Mark a lesson and shows him how it’s really done.

Just another Wet Wednesday filled with quality work, good people, and the usual shop shenanigans. Thanks for hanging out with us!
