⚠️ Beware of Broker & Scam Websites
We’ve recently seen an increase in websites advertising services in our area that appear to be local companies but are actually brokers or potentially fraudulent operations.
When you Google keywords such as "towing near me", these fake local tow companies will show up. These websites may charge significantly higher prices, collect your information or payment, and then fail to provide the service you expected leaving you out money and still waiting.
Protect yourself: When you need service, contact a local, recognizable company directly. Make sure you know who you’re speaking with, verify the business, and be cautious of websites that make it difficult to determine where the company is actually located.
Best way to know if they are a middleman?
Ask this simple question:
"Where are you located?"
If they are a middle man, they will not be able to give you a street name, city, or even a state. This is a big red flag.
Or ask them what their company name is, they will beat around the bush or give a general name.
Supporting a trusted local company means you know who you’re calling—and who will be showing up at your door.
When in doubt, call local and call direct.
