Hotdogs & Head Gaskets hits different for me and I want people to understand why. This year marks four years of Flat 4 Society. Four years of growth, chaos, memories, mistakes, wins, and a community that became so much bigger than I ever imagined.
When I started this club, it wasn’t some big plan or business idea. It wasn’t a brand. It wasn’t a multi‑state movement. It was just me and 100 hot dogs at my very first car show .That day was the foundation. I didn’t know it then, but it was the spark that lit everything we have now. I just wanted to bring people together , Subaru owners, car lovers, anyone who needed a place to belong. I wanted to show that car culture could be more than egos and parking lots and likes . It could be a force for good, a way to build community, support people, and make a real impact.
Somehow… it worked. From that first meet to where we stand today — a multi‑state car club filled with passion, loyalty, and genuine enthusiasm , it still blows my mind. I never thought people would stand behind me the way they have. I never thought this many Subaru owners would believe in my mission. I never thought we’d grow into something that changes lives, raises money, supports families, and gives people a place to feel seen.
Flat 4 Society isn’t just a club anymore. It’s a family. It’s a story. It’s proof that one small idea, one cookout, one moment can turn into something bigger than you ever expected. So when I say Hotdogs & Head Gaskets means something to me, I mean it. This event is where it all started. It’s the reminder of how far we’ve come and how far we can still go. It’s the heartbeat of this club.
To everyone who’s been part of this journey, whether you came to one meet or you’ve been riding with me since day one I thank you. You helped build this. You helped turn a simple idea into a movement. You helped make Flat 4 Society what it is today and we’re not done. Not even close.
