We were interested in what we thought was a certified Pre-Owned BMW 2018 M4 Convertible with less than 16K miles. We test drove the car which drove great and Charlie was fantastic in explaining the features of the car. We were under the impression that it was a CERTIFIED Pre-Owned car so that we could purchase an extended warranty. Unfortunately when we asked about it, the salesman and finance representative could not find any information as to why an extended warranty could not be offered for the vehicle. Although we had made an appointment, we were made to wait around several hours and several phone calls back and forth with no answers other than the car is not eligible so we gave up. This was a very strange experience for us since every other BMW dealership we have dealt with over the years have always been extremely professional and upfront about the status of their vehicles. We just want to warn others if they are looking to purchase this car from South BMW. Here's the Pre-Certified link for the car which is why we thought it was pre-certified but apparently isn't:
