🪨 CRAWLERS ARE THE HARDEST THINGS TO TUNE PROPERLY. 🪨

Anybody can make an LS scream at WOT.
Making a crawler behave PERFECTLY at 1% throttle hanging off a rock ledge? That’s the real tuning.

This ‘91 Toyota is built properly 👊

• Dana 60s
• 5.38s
• 40s on TR beadlocks
• TH350 full manual valve body
• 203/205 doubler with triple sticks
• 24” King coilovers
• Fresh aluminum 5.3
• 799 heads
• Summit cam + Texas Speed DOD delete
• Holley Terminator X

Crawler tuning is ALL about control.

Tiny throttle movements.
Smooth transitions.
Stable idle crawling downhill.
No bucking.
No surging.
No random lean spikes when you barely touch the pedal.
No touchy “on/off switch” throttle behavior that shocks the chassis and unloads suspension.

You need the engine to react predictably at the LIGHTEST pedal input possible — especially with deep gears, a doubler setup, and a manual valve body where every little movement matters.

That’s where proper EFI calibration changes everything 💻🔥

Throttle mapping, idle control, timing strategy, fueling transitions, DFCO behavior, startup correction, fan control, heat management — all of it has to work together so the rig feels planted and controlled instead of fighting you on the trail.

Another one dialed in remotely 💻🔥

Customer got set up with a laptop and I logged in remotely — went through it properly and got it running the way it should.

I see it all the time… cars that have been to multiple shops and still don’t run right. These systems are SIMPLE when they’re set up and calibrated properly.

Sometimes it’s parts — 80 % time calibration is straight TRASH
Base file and “self-learning” isn’t a tune.

And the fuel system setups I’ve been seeing lately… we’ll get into that soon 👀

Do it right:
✔️ Wiring
✔️ Fuel system
✔️ Proper calibration

That’s how you end up with som**hing that actually starts, idles, and drives like it should.

Just wrapped up dialing in this one 🔥🔥

This ’66 Galaxie is an absolute weapon 💪 — classic full-size Ford 🇺🇸 with a serious modern setup under the hood. Running a 330ci (5.4L) DOHC Terminator-based combo topped with a 2.9L Whipple 🌀💨 and it delivers exactly how you’d expect 😈

Took this one from “it runs” to fully sorted ✅ — cold starts ❄️, idle stability ⚙️, throttle response 🚀, and overall drivability now right where they should be. These combos can be tricky 🤏 but when they’re dialed… they’re on another level 🔥
