we are currently in hispanic heritage month, a time of the year that means a lot to me. being hispanic is to enjoy all that is vibrant, different, and fulfilling in life. i come from people who are passionate, who find a way, and who aren't afraid to make fun of themselves while doing whatever it takes to protect and uplift those in their community. i have been so grateful to meet many inspiring and trailblazing hispanic people in my life, and i hope to be one for others before i die. i am proud to be dominican, puerto rican & haitian. with a family as different as mine, it has been impossible for me to "fit in" and that's the biggest strength i have ❤️🫶🏽🇩🇴🇵🇷🇭🇹

we raced, that's for sure. p28

started off ok, had some battles and had to keep chasing the track as it changed all night. after a few adjustments we had it rolling until the incident. thanks to all of Young’s Motorsports for preparing a fast race car and throwing everything at it and me to get us better. every time i get to drive is a privilege, just gotta execute better and better.

to be seen is to be loved, thanks for the shout Penza. I recently spotted with him and Nitro Motorsports for the last few ARCA road course races. I've seen him everywhere and he's done many jobs, doing this stuff helps your cross paths with great hard working people and Penza is one of them!!

Bugsy's Auto Repair is looking for a full-time helper to join our shop.

This is an entry-level position with room to grow and a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade. No professional experience is required. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus, but we're willing to teach someone who shows up ready to work and learn.

What you'll be doing:

Assisting mechanics and technicians
Truck teardown and reassembly
Sanding and bodywork prep
Assisting with welding and fabrication
Washing and cleaning trucks
Parts runs
Shop cleanup and organization
Helping wherever you're needed

We work primarily on heavy trucks, and because we're a small, family-owned shop, you'll get exposure to a little bit of everything — mechanical repair, welding, fabrication, bodywork and paint. You won't be stuck doing the same thing every day.

We're looking for someone who:

Shows up every day and on time
Isn't afraid to get dirty
Can listen and follow directions
Wants to learn
Can stay off their phone and stay busy
Has reliable transportation
Is at least 16 years old

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Starting Pay: $17.00/hour and up, depending on experience

This can become a career.

Both of our current department heads started at Bugsy's as helpers. We've also had helpers go on to become well-paid welders in the shipyard and construction industries.

If you put in the work and want to learn, this position can lead to becoming a full technician with us or give you hands-on experience that can open doors throughout the heavy-truck and skilled-trades industries.

Interested in racing?

This is also a unique opportunity for someone who wants to get involved in motorsports. You'll work full-time at Bugsy's Auto Repair, with opportunities to work with Mullins Racing and gain hands-on racing experience as well.

We're a small family shop. We work hard, stay busy, and do a huge variety of work. We're looking for someone who wants an opportunity to learn and isn't afraid to start at the bottom and work their way up.
