Perfect Sunday morning recently Merlin McCormack impeccable Brentford HQ hosting Hypra Lusso with a stunning line-up of hypercars and supercars. I decided it was the ideal opportunity to give the Ferrari 458 Speciale a big run, perfect weather too. It’s so nice to see the community with their cars out and about, enjoying first-class hospitality, great driving and fun times. Car passion ❤️💯

This Ferrari F40 left the factory in December 1988, she will soon celebrate her 38th birthday, an early 7 series car, non cat, non adjust, and more exciting to drive than ever, I acquired her in late 2011 - I’d always wanted to add an F40 but what pushed me to pull the trigger was taking delivery earlier that year of a brand new 599 GTO. Why did the GTO push me? It was so bonkers mad, so visceral, the desire to live an F40’s driving experience became overwhelming - fast forward to today, the F40 didn’t just meet expectations, it absolutely crushed them - and to think the Ferrari F40 was unveiled in Maranello on 21st July 1987, more mesmerising, more incredible than ever 🐎❤️🇮🇹

Unicorn’s unicorn? The Pagani Codalunga coupé, inspired by the 1960s long-tail Le Mans Racers, the

huge at 3.7 metres square, 360mm longer than the standard Huayra Coupé, 6.0L Mercedes-AMG 60° Twin Turbo V12 developing 829hp, 1100 Nm torque, 648hp/tonne. No hybrid systems, no electric motors. The Titanium exhaust weighs just 4.4kg, chassis uses Pagani Carbo-Titanium Monocoque with tubular steel subframes front and rear. Along with 5 Coupés, Pagani made 10 Speedsters. Coupés were priced at €7 million each at its 2022 launch, before taxes and personal specification. I loved the insane details, finest auto art

Double trouble, I specced the front F12tdf after the epic 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione, s/n 2689, an alloy-bodied, LHD “SEFAC Hot Rod” which was driven to a historic GT Class Victory (and 3rd overall) at the 1961 24 Hours of Le Mans by Pierre Noblet and Jean Guichet, using French Racing Blue for its racing livery with no stripe down its back. The second F12tdf racing livery was specced by its owner using the classic Ferrari Blu Ribot with the stripe down its back. Two sublime V12 supercars, the ferocity of the F12tdf’s performance is extraordinary and for me matched by its exquisite design 🐎🐎💎💎🇮🇹

Big thanks to .shootz for catching me in the 458 Speciale. I had to get up at 5:45 am on Sunday morning to get to by 9:00 am…..tbf few automotive experiences justify setting a pre-dawn alarm quite like having empty, open tarmac ahead of this very special Ferrari with its peak 4.5L NA V8, 597hp and 9000rpm redline 😈😇

It’s not often I get to join with the carspotting pack to see a unicorn but today was one of those special days. Because an utterly beautiful, rare and breathtaking Pagani Huayra Codalunga Coupé was departing the superb event this morning - a few facts about the Codalunga Coupé:

Inspired by the 1960s long-tail Le Mans Racers. Tail is a work of art in itself, and huge at 3.7 metres square, 360mm longer than the standard Huayra Coupé

No hybrid systems, no electric motors - instead a 5980cc Mercedes-AMG 60° Twin Turbo V12 developing 829hp, 1100 Nm torque, and 648hp/tonne

Gorgeous Titanium exhaust weighs just 4.4kg

Uses Pagani Carbo-Titanium Monocoque along with tubular steel subframes front and rear

5 Coupés made (+ 10 Speedsters)

Priced at 2022 launch €7 million before taxes and personal specification. All 5 Coupé were sold prior to launch
