Check out this round of modernizations we just completed on this mostly original 1977 FJ40.

Thanks to our new factory style custom hard fuel lines and air cleaner adapter, the Holley Sniper fuel injection is nearly invisible at first glance. Same for the electric power steering conversion.

Compared to the tired carb, the Sniper nearly doubled the seat of the pants power.

The electric power steering makes turning a breeze without the leaky pumps, squeaky belts, or invasive surgery common to retrofit power steering conversions.

We’re pretty excited about this repower project we’re working on. This beautiful LS3 will double the power this 80 series came with from the factory. Should move it down the road quite nicely!

This pair of hot rodded 2F’s are headed back to MS to repower an FJ40 and FJ55. The earlier motor sports a fresh set of dome pistons, big domestic valves and a milled head. The later flat-piston 2F got the full Cop Motor treatment - bored out to 4.4L, stainless big valves, some CNC magic to the valve seats and much much more. Can’t wait to see them come back to life!

Long time, no see - here’s one of the projects we’ve been busy with...

This nice 60 got a massive dose of underhood simplification and modernization by converting the complicated carburetor and vacuum mess to a modern fuel injection system. Not only does it save the environment & the motor, but now it’s easier to work on!

Our next victim is this 1974 FJ40 suffering from a tired ticker.

We rebuilt a later model 2F and bored it out for the biggest pistons we could get our hands on. We’ll top it of with a modern fuel injection system to replace the antiquated carburetor.

This is going to be a real sleeper when it’s done!

We sent this nice LS-powered 1985 FJ60 home to its owner last week. Now it has more power, better gas mileage, lower emissions, and more reliability than stock. It’s ready for the next 33 years!

The Saggin’ Wagon has been awakened from two year coma after a successful interspecial heart transplant. A few more sessions of PT and she should get her release papers.

This clean FJ60 showed up with sagging springs and an empty engine bay. We are down to wiring and exhaust and then we can peel out with more than double the horsepower than it had from the factory in 1985.

This 49 year old beauty has been reunited with its pup after we wiped the dust off under the hood and gave it a few modern upgrades while we were in there. Now it’s ready for another 49 years!

If it ain’t broke - we’ll fix it!

First up is this beautiful single family owned 1969 FJ40 with only 13,000 miles!

Cruisers like to be used frequently, and this one was crying for attention with the usual leaky gaskets, sloppy steering, and clogged carburetor.

While we address those issues, we’re also going back in with some modern touches like fuel injection & disc brakes.
